How to unlock the 15 Double Iceberg achievement in Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight - Definitive Guide

Iceberg gems are made by forming five gems into an L or T shape. There isn't a sure fire way to get this as there is with all the other achievements of a similar description. (Up until level 37 at least - can't say beyond that)

You can get this by just playing through the levels quite easily but the way I finished it off easily is on Level 9.

If you're lucky then when you start the level, you will be able to form an Iceberg gem straight away, like I could. (If you can't, finish the level and play another one, then go back to 9, this way it will reset the level and change the gems around - whereas if you continue playing the same level over and over the gems will always start in the same place and combinations will happen the same in every game.) When you have the first Iceberg gem, manoeuvre other gems around it as best you can, and if needs be, use a glacier gem to rid one colour from the grid, making it easier to make a second Iceberg. Once you have a second one close by, you can use the second glacier gem to help drop it next to the first.

This is a theory, im not sure. I havent done many of these AT ALL in singlemode. once or twice only. Then i started playing multi mode and took ALOT of them with no luck, then i read your description and went to the single player level 9 and on my first combo it popped.

It would seem like the multi mode icebergs count, but you need to get back in single to make it pop.

Just here to debunk the above theory, and to say that there is no gem combinations that count in the couch multi-player mode. I went for the 50 multiplayer matches played achievement right away and upon entering back into single player I received no achievement progress. This is not to say that this wasn't a bug/exploit previously, but it is no longer a viable method any more.

Perhaps it was my copy, but while it says 15, it only really requires 10. I noticed something odd when I noticed I was 50% done, which is impossible for this achievement. Every time I did one after that it was 10% off each time. So I only had to do 10.

And level 9 was where I grinded mine out. Seems to be best for all combo gem achievements.

Happened to me, also, but at 80% which would have been 12/15. I combined 2 more and it unlocked.

To create the Iceberg gems, simply match 5 gems in a "T" or "L" shape configuration and match them both together. Refer to "5 Double Glacier" for a quick and efficient method of grinding them.

Slightly harder than the Windchill achievement, but still easy to do on Level 9. When you combine crystals of the same colour in an "L" or "T" shape, 4 of them disappear, and the one becomes an Iceberg. They look a little like stars, but with a coloured ice crystal in the middle.

You now need to create another one and maneuver it into position next to the first one. Mix the two together, and they create a large "+" shape on the board, eliminating many crystals right, left, up and down.

Repeat 14 more times for the achievement.

At level 9 you are given 2 free ice bonuses. At the same level you collect the iceberg. And you poke the ice bonus at him. Many crystals turn into icebergs. While they are “casting the iceberg”, quickly find nearby ones and stack them with each other.
Do this 15 times.
The main thing is to win the level, and then go through it again so that lives are not removed. If you select "Repeat" from the menu, it will remove the life!
