How to unlock the Lightspeed achievement in Fruit Ninja Kinect - Definitive Guide
A Combo Blitz is when you score 3 combos ( a combo only counts when you slice 3 fruit or more in 1 swing ) within a certain amount of time, this is very easy to pull off. Somehow the game doesn't count any blitzes you get passed the first blitz which is the Combo Blitz. The incredible-blitz and all the other fancy names that show up don't count !
Method:
Start Arcade mode and get 3 combos, make sure you see the Combo Blitz text on the screen, after that hit a bomb, this will reset your blitz counter. Rinse & repeat.
I'm not sure if the CO-OP Arcade works but this shouldn't really matter much because as said all the other blitzes don't count towards this achievement so it will definitely not speed up this achievement.
Good luck

It would have been great to know that I needed the star background from the dlc -.-

Thanks for this, worked perfectly! I wouldn't have realized it doesn't count the "higher" blitzes.

The achievement is cumulative, meaning it does not have to be done in one game. When I played single player arcade, the achievement seemed to only count Combo Blitzes (+5) and not anything past it like great, awesome, super, hyper and unbelievable . Not sure why it only counts the first blitz or if my game just glitched, but shouldn't take more than 5-10 games to achieve. Playing multiplayer arcade might make the achievement easier/faster to achieve.

Confirmed, cumulative. However doesn't only count the first blitz, if you continue you will get more. The easiest way to SEE this is in single person co-op where you can get incredi-blitz and impossi-blitz. However in arcade this is much harder to get to, meaning that yes 5-10 playthroughs are required as you'll likely only get 3-4 Combo blitzes in the same game.

so what is a blitz? is it when you get a 5 fruit combo or 5 combos in a row?

Go to Sensei's Swag, equip "Star Chart", then go to Arcade Mode. Simply gain 20 Blitz combos. Refer to BLITZIN! for more information on Blitzes.
