How to unlock the Badge of the Hero achievement in Fuga: Melodies of Steel - Definitive Guide
Hi tank-drivers,
First elite-battle show up in chapter 2 or 3. When you have the option to pick a road, head for the dangerous one. Elite battles will be seen on the map over your tank in a purple colour - while normal battles are red markers. First one appears after approximatly 1,5-2 hours in-game.
Choose carefully which road you want to take. On the one hand, elite battles are more difficult (you might need to use some SP), will injure your kids, leave your tank in bad shape and simply take longer (enemies have more armor and several attacks). On the other hand, your rewards after the battle are better: more experience, better items, ... So better check ahead what will still come!
As for the fights themselves: be aware to change your formation every 3 turns if needed, to hit the enemies with the correct attacks. Check your kids for possible links and skills, as this might be of great help. I found that decreasing the armor first, while trying to delay the enemy, is a game changer.
Obviously, after winning 10 elite battles, you will unlock:
So far I always chose the dangerous road when asked and managed to get around. So I can recommend picking that option so far. Hope this helps a bit.
Greetings!
