There are only three races in the Dominator series. These races require you to eliminate rivals while finishing in the top two or three spots and racking up some Wreck Points along the way.
I recommend outfitting your car with as much firepower as you can, whatever best suits your combat style. Stay away from the smokescreens, as you need to focus on taking those rivals down. There are other non-rival cars that often get in the way, but ignore them unless they're making your life difficult. Once you take down one rival, you'll have enough for the Survivor medal, but if going for the gold, once you have enough rival kills to qualify, just focus on finishing first in the race.
You need only meet the survivor (bronze) requirements for each of the three races in order to unlock the Achievement.

The, Can, Within
These races are in place so that you have to eliminate your opponents (the ones that are marked by a triple waypoint) while racing them, and other opponents. The best way to win is by concentrating ONLY on eliminating opponents, and then on the last lap race till you get first.
