There are four races in the Gang Wars series. These races require you to take out competing racers, while avoiding taking out members of your own racing team.
The teams are separated both by car model, as well as colour-coded chevron over their car that helps identify them. You need to rack up a specified number of Wreck Points as well as finish at the front of the pack in order to earn medals. You will be deducted Wreck Points if you total a teammate, so be discriminating with your weapons fire.
The third and fourth races are a little confusing at first, since half the pack races forward around the track, and the other half races backward. It makes it trickier to judge your lead on the second place car, so equip missiles to try and take out the opponents that are traveling in the opposite direction as you.
You need only meet the survivor (bronze) requirements for each of the four races in order to unlock the Achievement.

You say overtake. Is this supposed to be gang war or wrong solution?

Circuit races with allies. Shooting/destroying allies (same coloured vehicles) causes you to lose points. You’re “allies” still attack you (sometimes).
