Full House Poker

So i figured out why it wasn't working. There must have been missing code in the file size prior to them updating the achievements, because i deleted it and noticed that it increased by 100 or so after downloading it again.

I tried the exact same thing Brujeira. Must have been something wrong with it as I had to go to an online ranked match and just went all in 5 times in a row and won the achievement.

I'll keep an eye on this then and I'll probably ask for this achievement to be flagged as buggy.

The same, but I won more than 5 hands and the achievement didn't pop, I won it when Mel went to all in too and loose. Not before.

I thought I'd seen most of the bugs this game could throw at you but I guess I haven't. I made Mel fold 5 times, didn't show any cards and it popped. Anyway, I've submitted some flag info and asked for this to be marked as buggy.

I can confirm that I did not have to show my hands for this. For the other new achievements, I'm almost positive showing your hands is required, but I could be wrong.

Ok I went on a 20 hand win streak and nothing! How do I delete my cache? Should I uninstall the DLC and download it again? Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help guys I uninstalled the DLC and reinstalled it ...played Mel and the achievement poped...and boom goes the dynamite!

The games achievements are glitchy. Think it has something to do with startup. I played the demo along time ago and can't remember how I unlocked the full version but it seems to affect the achievements. I unlocked Awesome Foursome just by loading up the game one day after playing many hands still needing the 10 wins.

It's quite strange. I've done it in the first days of dlc. It's popped up and I can still see it unlocked on X360 but not on XboxLive.com ... any suggestion?!?

Problems like that are often down to gamertag glitches. Have you tried all the usual fixes like recovering your gamertag, clearing your cache and redownloading the DLC?

Fyi...ran into a similar issue, but realized I loaded the game (and got the latest update) before I downloaded the winter dlc. Cleared cache, simply did download again (never deleted the dlc), loaded it up for the update, and everything works fine now.

I've done:
1. deleted and recovered my gamertag
2. (re)cleared cache
3. redownloaded the game
result? The game freezes each time ... ...

Freezing at startup is a widespread issue as of today (I assume it might be related to the Avatar Famestar server(s) but I could be wrong). Here is a solution:

"Try this temporary fix: Sign OUT of your gamertag, then go into Full House Poker. Once you're in the game, you can sign in there, and it should work.

Ok now it works, thx so much! Just got the achievement again :)

can confirm of 27/02/13 that the following does fix the achievement problems:

1. Delete and recover profile.
2. Clear Cache
3. Redownload winter 2012 dlc (no need to delete)
4. Load and apply update

Does anybody know if you have to download the DLC to get these? I ask because i missed a few and want to know if i should even try for them. I know the first DLC pack is unobtainable now, and I completed the second DLC, but the rest dont seem to be season specific.

You should be fine as there are people like bagm assassin who only started playing recently and are unlocking them OK.

Yes, you can get the obtainable achievements from previous seasons as long as you have the current DLC. I moved all my game files off to USB and downloaded a fresh copy of the base game (no DLC) to see if I could get it to pop on an alternate profile and it wouldn't. I downloaded the current DLC (Spring 2013) and it popped first time. So if you have the most recent DLC installed you have access to all the achievements except the six discontinued ones.

Brujeira has got it spot on. After I downloaded the current DLC, 2 achievements popped onscreen and was able to get 2 more including this afterwards. Just have the current DLC and you'll be fine.

never heard of any issues with this cheevo before, but if u won 5 in a row u should try to find out why this works for everyone else but didn´t for u instead of downvoting this solution...LOL
