How to unlock the Pull the Trigger achievement in Full House Poker - Definitive Guide
There is some confusion as to what the game seems to count as a BET for this achievement.
When you press Y you can either bet or raise. That is what counts as a bet, calling or checking (A) does not count!
A blind does not count as a bet. Neither does an ante.
If someone raises or re-raises your bet, then you can call it and it will still be fine, as long as you bet beforehand.
You generally want to be in an early position so you can dictate play for this achievement, that is to say, the dealer button is more to your right than your left.

I wish I could upvote this, but having a solution of my own prevents me from doing so. Thanks for the clarification!

FWIW, the other players folding on the river counts as winning the showdown.

You must bet at all four opportunities (when you get your two cards, after the flop, after the turn, and after the river) and win the showdown.
In any game mode, simply bet the minimum you can at each point and win the showdown.

Simple, place a bet on every street.
On the other hand, if your not familiar with pokerterms this can be a bit difficult to understand.
You'll have to bet after each turn & time you get cards, either the two in your hands or the ones on the table.
If found the easiest and fastest way to obtain this was to start a tournament with ten players. Bet small amounts and just hope only one opponent stays till the end and that you have the better hand.
Credit to Groudon199 for pointing out that you can still unlock the achievement if everyone else folds when the River is dealt.(The river or "river card" is the final card dealt in a poker hand, to be followed by a final round of betting)
You can also obtain this with a pro-takedown, but chances are higher that they fold once you start betting from the beginning.

I've done this twice in 1 tournament now. One time being an all-in win. Anyone else having problems with it? I was raised each time I bet. Do they just have to call me?

For this achievement, you will have to place a bet on the Flop (first three cards), the Turn (fourth card), and the River (last card) and then win. The best advice I can give is go with the minimum bet to avoid from having the other players fold before the showdown.
