Full Throttle Remastered

I didn't see that at the start and I don't recall it being shown on the controls. If it was I wouldn't have asked the question. I had to Google search. Also, this was the first time I had to look at anything. Could probably finish the entire game without ever using that function, if you don't go for achievements.

Could be right actually, I can't remember anything you specifically have to look at to finish the game. Was just a little surprised that you felt it needed to be added to the guide, it definitely is mentioned either at the beginning when you're shown the control pad or in the "how to play" section of the menu.

Same here. Pressing up twice on the skull to the eyes is how I got the achievement eventually (on the TV monitor, about 4x)

Thanks Swearysean. I don't recall anywhere it showing you how to look at things. And up until this point in the game you can get the whole way here without looking at things.
Should absolutely be added to the guide.

Jeez, it’s kind of unbelievable to me that you could play this game without it realizing you could look at things. Like how did you even get that far. Just unfathomable. Sounds like a bunch of negative nellies.

It's literally one of two things you have to look at in the entire game, and that's just for achievement purposes! Your comment is pointless and negative.

I don't mean to be needlessly negative, but from beginning to end of the game, I was looking at everything to get hints/descriptions of things. To me that's how I've always played point-and-click games. I look at things to hear the character speak, and to see if that can give me any clues about what to do next.

Thinking about it more, the way you have to click up twice to get to the eyes, I could see that being missed by many people. And since the actual solving of puzzles is done using mouth/hand/leg actions, it makes sense someone wouldn't know what it means to "look" at an object in this game. You only have to click once to get to mouth or hand or leg prompts. While to "look' you have to click twice.

I think of course, the solution should ADD that tip. I am just surprised that people wouldn't know about the look function.

Most people use a WT and it mentions LOOK the first time when this achievement is done. You don't look at things before that if you use a guide.

no need for the attitude from the OP. i also didnt know there was even a look action, and its more that the game does a horrible job at explaining it, especially considering the fact that up once defaults to the "putting your lips on that" action.

People are WAY to sensitive. I detected no "attitude" here, just ignorance at not being able to play a game. How people do no know how to "look" or perform any actions on a game such as this is beyond me. Ignorance is not an excuse.

Not getting in a pissing contest with anyone, but I am following the walkthrough and got to this point in the game without ever knowing how to "look." This was news to me. The other 2 guides don't tell you either, but this one does at least (now lol)

Wait... I was playing the game the whole time with MY eyes closed. Should I have been doing it with my eyes open?!

When we should be helping each other with achievements and such... why does the one person who knew about EVERY game function, have to be a dick about someone sharing a help tip? Being shown the controls on the controller, and having a tutorial when you need to do something for the first time are two different things. I wouldn't gotten this achievement, without the first comment!!

So with a gamepad, you have to use or twice so that the icon change from lick to watch.
