How to unlock the Incredible Fury Unleashed achievement in Fury Unleashed - Definitive Guide
Incredible game mode works like this:
- You start off from the first level with no upgrades.
- If you die it's game over and you have to start from the beginning again.
- Every chapter you complete, you invest the ink you gathered in some upgrades by choosing from three randomly generated power-ups.
It really depends on how you like to play the game, but I can give some tips on what to choose and why (at least in my opinion).
Useful upgrades:
- Reload speed (your weapons deal more damage per second)
- Combo shield (you start off with just one shield, you can get up to three by keeping the combo up)
- Potion drop % (potions are extremely useful, trust me on this)
- Health drop % (you're gonna take damage, so you need to heal)
- Combo time (more time to build up your combo)
- Shield combo (if combo time runs out, one shield is used)
As far as health and fast travels, I would rely on chests you find along the way; if you have some spare ink, or if the choices you have are not worth, invest in health and fast travels.
Useful armor upgrades:
- Anything that boosts reload speed
- Anything that boosts ink drop from enemies (like melee kills or stomping kills)
- I suggest to absorb most of the armors without upgrades (especially in the first stages, where you don't get much damage) so you can have more ink to invest at the end of the chapter
Things to do:
- Equip the map reveal power up (so you can avoid rooms with mini-bosses, especially later in the game)
- If you stumble upon the devil, do not take upgrades that lower your total health, but consider "buying" things for blood (you can always regain your health).
- Accept every challenge you find along the way, at least in the first two comic books.
- Enter portals with combo 5 and try to beat the challenges.
- I always choose gold as a reward, to be able to invest it in blessings (250) and weapons (when in need).
I know it's just a general guide, but I hope this helps. Good luck!
