You can collect the bowl in the first level and then jump on the spike to respawn and you can collect them again it should take about 5 minutes to get 600

As the description says, you need to collect a cumulative total of 600 bowls of cereal over your playthrough. Once again, there are plenty to unlock this well before finishing the game (I was over 800). Just grab all the ones you see and you should have 600 before even reaching the final levels of the game.
