Level 2-2 (second one with birds)
The box is hanging in a cage. To unlock go to the signpost to the right of the cage (easily missed), and press 'Y' on the colors to drag them over the flowers. When the red and blue colors are over the right flowers the cage will unlock. then just grab the box from the cage.

On Stage 4, there is a cage hanging with rare box on the right side. Keep going right and press 
to use the sign post. Drag the blue, red colors to the right pictures. (Hold 
and use 
to drag).

Level select feature was only recently added that identified these levels as stage 1,2,3,4... etc. I just assumed it was 1-1,1-2,1-boss, 2-1,2-2, 2-boss etc.

Level 2-2
As you head to the right, you'll come across another caged cereal box. Head right past it to find a signpost you can interact with to start a puzzle minigame. You need to drag the red paint to the rose (upper left image) and the blue paint to the violet (bottom right image) to complete the puzzle and unlock the cage. Now head back and grab the cereal box.
Level 2-2
