i never got what people say when they say just play the last level you were on because on my game it starts me all the way from level 1

On the same screen where you choose 1 player, and level one, there is a option underneath you can scroll through all the levels you passed and play them again. So you choose the last level you beat and start from there with all your lives. You keep doing this till you finish.
