How to unlock the Go to Sleep achievement in Game Room - Definitive Guide

I made this video for the Matchstick Eyes. I've found Adventure to be the easiest, but that's me. Make sure you save it every few hours to make sure the time saves. If you leave it overnight, back out first thing in the morning so you can get the hours.

I'm pretty sure that even if it glitches, you get some time credited to the achievement, but I'm not entirely sure.

EDIT: It looks like it's been patched, so you may need to keep a button on the controller pressed down by taping it or using a turbo controller. That way the console thinks you're actually there.

Can confirm the update. Might want to get a Hori controller.

You should be able to get this achievement through normal playing of the game but if you are struggling getting to this time , my method should help get you there.

You can use this method for all the timed achievements.
You will need a wired turbo controller and either of these games, Shark, Shark, Road Fighter, Super Cobra, Red Baron, Astrosmash or Finalizer. But going though my games. Most games will work via this method.

What I do is get a bit of Blu tack, stick the A button down with the Blu tack and get a small pebble, place the pebble on top of the Blu tack to make sure the button stays depressed.

With these games, you will get a couple of minutes play each life and with the A button pressed down, when you do die, it will automaticly start a new game.

Play in ranked mode and this will also get you the time spender medal for each game :)

This achievement requires that you play games for 16 hours. The way I did this was using a turbo controller. Enter the classic mode (not ranked) of just about any game and then turn turbo on for the left trigger (the rewind button). I used a Hori X-2 for this.

This will result in the game slowly rewinding until it rewinds as far as it can, and then it will move forward half a second, rewind back, and then repeat the process again and again.

It seems to record the time properly as well, as some methods it doesn't seem to record the full time. Achievement will pop whenever you've hit the 16 hour mark.

Also, you can use this to get the gold time spender medals, if you've payed for the game.

I did it on my Windows Phone (Lunar Lander, Pitfall). If you have any of the game-room titles for the phone (Lunar Lander, Pitfall, Centipede, Asteroids) the time spend there is added to game-room on the Xbox when you start it the next time.

So you can play something else on the Xbox while your phone does the grinding, you just have to tap on your Phone to start a new game (Lunar Lander every 5 min. and Pitfall every 20 min.)...;-)

Another easy , but very boring way to complete all these time achievements , is to play the game Adventure !

When you start the game , you will see a key. Go get the key and enter the castle . You can keep moving in the castle freely since there is no threat and in the meantime you can watch a movie/tv or play a game on the pc.

You can boost 2-3 hours per day while you doing something else .

Hint: Dont leave your controller since the timer will stop counting after 1-2 minutes, if you don't move at all

Edit : You can also get Time spender medals with this game. Some other games that you can use the same way are the Tennis games , river raids etc .

I did very similar to the above solution however I used the Tennis - used the wire from the wired controller to have my player running either to the left or the right...

Woke up and had 7 hours worth of gaming - I have heard however that the time does not seem to record on Tennis 100% accurate.
