How to unlock the Machine not Man achievement in Game Room - Definitive Guide
I made this video for the Matchstick Eyes, but it works for this as well. You can get this achievement by simply playing Game Room for a long time, or you can use the rubber band trick. I've found Adventure to be the easiest, but that's me.
Make sure you save it every few hours to make sure the time saves. If you leave it overnight, back out first thing in the morning so you can get the hours.
Also make sure you use a wired controller, so that it doesn't turn off after you walk away.
I'm pretty sure that even if it glitches, you get some time credited to the achievement, but I'm not entirely sure.

I just plugged in the Guitar Hero - "guitar" and let it sit. No rubber bands or anything. Well, I guess that the whammy bar isn't in "idle" by default, maybe it's that.

Be careful, the internal clock is rubbish. I rubberbanded for 6 hours straight, and only recorded 38 minutes........

You can use this method for all the timed achievements.
You will need a wired turbo controller and either of these games, Shark, Shark, Road Fighter, Super Cobra, Red Baron, Astrosmash or Finalizer.
What I do is get a bit of Blu tack, stick the A button down with the Blu tack and get a small pebble, place the pebble on top of the Blu tack to make sure the button stays depressed.
With these games, you will get a couple of minutes play each life and with the A button pressed down, when you do die, it will automaticly start a new game.
Play in ranked mode and this will also get you the time spender medal for each game :)

Pinball is even better. When you press A, the flippers move, but the ball stays un-launched so you cannot lose and it keeps the timer going. This works in ranked mode so you can get the gold time spender and survivalist medals all the time spender achievements if you let it go long enough, and the blisters have blisters one as well. You can't just let it sit, because the timer will stop every minute you are inactive, so you need the wired turbo controller with the A button taped down. I don't own one and had to hit A every minute for an hour straight... it was brutal...

I did it on my Windows Phone (Lunar Lander, Pitfall). If you have any of the game-room titles for the phone (Lunar Lander, Pitfall, Centipede, Asteroids) the time spend there is added to game-room on the Xbox when you start it the next time.
So you can play something else on the Xbox while your phone does the grinding, you just have to tap on your Phone to start a new game (Lunar Lander every 5 min. and Pitfall every 20 min.)...;-)
