How to unlock the My First Win achievement in Game Room - Definitive Guide

For this and the other challenge achievements, you can use another account on your xbox if you have one. A silver account will do. You do have to buy a game to be able to send challenges. But once you do, set it to an hour, most points, fail miserably on the second account, beat that score with your main, and voila, you won a challenge!

Don't you both accounts have to have the games? So you'd have to buy it twice.

No, just buy it once, your other account can access it fine.

I did this last night. It's best to start the challenge with the silver, it may have just been me but it struggled the other way round.

The game server has been a mess so challenges are flaky. It doesn't matter which account initiates. The game also has to be a game with all three medals.

Are there Game Room 'Level' requirements and/or 'Medal' requirements I'm missing... I just can't seem to send/receive challenges. I've purchased Battlantis and Crystal Castles thus far if anyone wants to try sending me a challenge (in case it's a server-side issue or something else I may have missed). Message me if you have any other ideas to offer, thanks. [I know this should be a straight-forward achievement!]

Not sure if silver accounts work. I tried this, and kept getting a message that "you need to be online for this" and "silver accounts cannot go online".

If I am mistaken, could someone clarify?

I have two gold accounts (been boosting GoW), how am I supposed to do this. Do I have to "buy" the Gameroom on my second account? And do I have to buy a game on my second account or is this not necessary?

If you by any DLC game or content (It doesn't matter on what account), any person playing on the same Xbox is able to access the material as well (Regardless if the purchasing account is logged in). This is the "license" you purchase (The license also allows for the purchasing account to access the same content on any other Xbox however they must be logged into Xbox live).

Because of this, you'll only need to purchase the game once as long as both profiles being used are on the same Xbox that the game was purchased on. Heck, you can go to a friend's house who has the games and do it if you are not up for spending MS Points.

Does anyone have Lunar Lander? If so, could you send me an easy challenge and I'll return the favour?

Simply do this with a friend via the main menu. Send a challenge through the challenge option, wait for your friend to complete it and try and beat their score (or just easily boost for each other. rinse and repeat for the 10x and 20x challenge achievements also)

though id add, it doesn't take into account your current high score, only that set when you play the challenge, and it doesn't count towards any medals for the game either when playing in a challenge.

yep you will need a friend with the same game, but if using an account on the same console, both accounts should have access

In order to earn this one, you're going to have to need to purchase at least one game for your arcade. Once you do that, you can create challenges for that game against your friends.

Boosting is easy. You can have several challenges running at once. Your friends can also challenge you in return. Set the challenge to the shortest time possible, and win a token amount of points. Have your friend play the game and do worse. Voila! Challenge won, and achievement popped. You can then help your friend boost as well.

Since you can run several of these at once, it's easy to continue on to the Challenge Chief and Challenge Master achievements at the same time.

Simply win an issued challenge by being at the top of the specific challenge's leaderboard. Easily done by having a friend choosing Longest Survivor from the Challenge Terms, then 1 from the Number of Tries category, and 1 Hour from the Challenge Expiration category. Have your friend play, and die as quick as possible. Simply play longer then him, and you'll obtain the achievement.
