You can do this against an AI in Wave mode
The best method is to do this against a spare controller
Run (hold A) at the other player
Jump (A) and hold A+B to do a diving headbutt
If they get knocked out you'll get this achievement

in case people are having trouble with this and drop kick the trick is you MUST HOLD DOWN THE BUTTON when you knock them out to count if you just keep hitting X or B it won't work - Hope that helps -- Great guide by the way - Thanks

Not if this will help but I had issues getting this, until I took the hats of, then using the above (stand in front pressing A+B) it worked a treat

I just kept restarting an AI wave and walked (didn't know holding A was run) towards the AI, pressed A a fair bit away, and held B. So it doesn't need to be running.

20 mins yesterday and 20 mins today, I've tried every solution, knocked out the other player so many times, no achievement still.

edit - ended up being my final achievement. Melee game mode, Ring stage, no costumes on either player. Stood basically face to face with no runup, jumped and held b, and finally got it similar to the vid in Sitop Apen's solution.

I just got this on the subway level for more room and less special effects. I changed outfits to remove any clothes/outfits, just in case it was affecting things. Second controller was getting knocked out, but not unlocking. When it finally did, I had jumped too early, and my main hit the second in the chest rather than head-bonking one another.
There's also a 'grace' period of about a second after letting go of the run button that you'll continue running. So that gives you a moment or two to let go, then do the A+B thing for the running headbutt.

The Drop Kick, and Big Head, achis are quite clunky, even if you know how the perform a flying kick/headbutt.
Local, Melee (spare gamepad for P2), 8 rounds, Subway: Hold

to run at P2, release

and instantly tap

to jump, then instantly hold

to perform a the flying kick, or hold

for the flying nut. Make sure you have a good run up - you'll hear a 'BISH!🥊' noise if you've concussed P2.
If P2 sits down while you're retrying use the spare pad to stand them up. It's still quite clunky, so might take a few attempts.
If you've only 1 controller you'll have to try Local/Wave mode, or Online, perhaps against your opponent during a football match (don't score in case they need the Shutout achi).

After trying this one for a while and to no avail, I finally looked it up on youtube. After trying this technique, I got it first try

I did not realize that the flying headbutt required you to jump and then hold down both A+B so you essentially go limp, I just thought it wasn't working.

This cheevo is weird....tried for ages on rooftop using this method and nothing. Then changed to subway with a different costume for my 2nd controller and then this method worked straight away. Could be coincidence but idk....

The goal of this achievement is to headbutt another player hard enough to knock them down. You do this by running with

, jumping with the same button, and then holding

to dive.

This took a REALLY long time for me to get right, but after watching some videos on it, I think I have a better solution. If, like me, you keep head-butting your dummy/friend and it doesn't seen to be working, try to headbutt them in the back of the neck.

For whatever reason, this worked the very first time for me. I was using a dummy in a local game at the time. Any map will do, though maps like Incinerator are best because they have long stretches of flat land. I'd recommend either Gang or Melee for the game mode.

I used two controllers to make this easier. I chose the football stage so I didn't have to worry about hazards. From there, I used jump and B up close to the second player to concuss them. It may take a few tries but after a little bit, you should get it.

Best way I found was to play the subway level. Jump next to opponent (2nd controller) at the edge of the subway platform and headbutt them off. If they fall off from headbutt automatically concussed from the fall off the platform.

Was able to get this on vents with 2 controllers in gang mode as it was the last achievement I needed. Approach the second controller right in front and hold both A and B buttons at the same time and soon enough the vents will push you up and you should knock the other player out as your rising in the air.

You cannot earn this trophy online!. This must be done offline/in a local game only. To do a diving headbutt, you need to jump with , then immediately hit to do a headbutt. You can press them both at the same time as well.

If doing this solo (Waves mode), Subway is a really good level to get it on as the platform is large enough to crank out a few diving headbutts on the enemies. If doing this in multiplayer, choose Soccer mode and the Alley stage. There are no obstacles to worry about here so just get close enough to the other player and do a diving headbutt in their face. The second player needs to be facing you so make sure you alter/move them as needed. It may take a few tries to actually knock them out, but as soon as you do, the trophy will unlock.
