How to unlock the Gangs of Humanity achievement in Gangs of Sherwood - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to complete 9 side quests for NPCs in the game. These quests become available in the main hub, but you must first speak with the NPC in the mission that they appear in in order to get started on them. You'll be able to identify the quest givers from normal NPCs due to their names showing up in a red'ish text. 7 are very easy to find, but 2 are a bit tricky. In order to complete most of them, you must return to certain chapters, as they can't be done just anywhere.

Also, you do NOT have to finish the mission once you've completed a task. You can exit right out and go back to the main hub to turn it in once it's done.

The quests are as follows:
*Defeat 25 Spearmen (must be completed in Act 3, Mission 2. You won't be able to get 25 kills in one go, but you can replay the mission and get the rest without the counter being reset.)

*Perform 25 Finishers (this one in particular can be done anywhere, it is mission agnostic. It says they must be done within 20 minutes but that seems to be a mistake, there's no way to do them all in that alotted time, so just ignore it.)

*Collect 3 Beautiful Flowers (must be done in Act 1, Chapter 2. They are blue in color, near a tree in a field of white flowers. You can collect them after you defeat Alfred of Nottingham, the hidden boss in the cave.)

*Perform 10 Parry Attacks while in The Lion's Den (this one must be completed in Act 3, Chapter 3. You can farm the first enemies you run into until it's done. However, this one is a bit buggy. I picked up the quest with Robin, but no matter what I did, it wouldn't count. I even tried other missions, nothing. It didn't start counting until I switched to Friar Tuck for some reason. So if you have the same problem, try that. You must have the Parry Attack technique unlocked though).

*Defeat Admiral Amory (this is Amory Of Nottingham, the midway boss of Act 1, Chapter 3. You fight him in the church. Pretty much unmissable.)

*Kill 3 Crows In Scornach Chasm (must be completed in Act 2, Chapter 1. There are way more than 3 Crows in this mission, so don't worry if you miss a few. This would best be done with Robin since he has a bow, and if a crow flies off, you can still hit it from a distance with an arrow.)

*Collect 5 Blood Poppies (must be completed in Act 3, Chapter 1. You'll find these red flowers immediately after passing the minefield. There will be a short cutscene where your character spots enemies dropping in, and you can see the red flowers on the right side. Just keep interacting with them until you've got 5.)

*Find The Missing Painting (can be found in Act 1, Chapter 1. About halfway through the level, you will reach a point where you must go though a series of alleyways and staircases. The painting will be next to a long stairway, and there's a fire going right behind the painting. If you're facing the mission waypoint marker at the gate, turn left until you see a barrel on fire, then turn towards the staircase. The painting is to your left underneath it.)

*Defeat Raymond Of Nottingham (he is the midway boss of Act 2, Mission 2. He has a big shield and can only be damaged from behind. Unmissable.)

A note on the last two: the NPCs for these were a little tricky to find. For the painting, you can find this NPC at the second checkpoint of Act 1, Mission 3. There's some crates you can break open and she's hiding behind them. Very easy to miss.

For the NPC that gives you Raymond Of Nottingham, she is located in Act 2, Mission 1. She's in a cage right next to an elevator that takes you to the next section, just after a checkpoint and in a closed room with a lot of enemies. She's the only NPC you can talk to after freeing her from the cage, so this one can be missed easily as well.

This might help but one of them is from a lady hanging in a cage on 2-1, I believe. She is easy to miss bc when you cut her down she looks just like a regular NPC in a cage except she offers you a quest to kill ? whose name I’m blanking on but is unmissable. The other NPC for a quest is hidden behind destroyable crates in an outdoor section at a checkpoint. 1-3 I believe. I don’t remember her quest but destroy the crates to the right of the checkpoint, and she’ll be there.

awesome, thanks. I'll replay those chapters today. I was speaking with The Wicked Soul on Youtube and he said one of the quests involves a giant painting in the first mission of the game, I just didn't know where to get the quest.

I believe that is from the crate girl hidden at the checkpoint. She’s sneaky to find. The painting is in 1-1 in the town section that is on fire. It’s in a room being blocked by wood debris you must destroy.

You are correct! Wow! They hid her very well at that checkpoint in 1-3! WTF. Updating the guide now, thank you!

I rescued all the workers in 2-3, none of them gave a quest. Could it have been another mission?

So, I’m positive she is in one of the hanging cages. That is to say not the ones you pull open. It’s possible it was 2-2. It’s in an indoor section where you fight a lot of enemies and after the fight you can free her and a few others. If you don’t walk directly up to her, you’d never know bc she looks like all the rest. Sorry i can’t be of more help.

No problem man, you're helping plenty. I'll run though those levels and figure it out.

Found her! She's in Act 2, Mission 1. Like you said, in an enclosed area right next to the elevator. Finally done!
