How to unlock the A Restful Slumber achievement in Garden Story - Definitive Guide

It's pretty easy, just use the dowsing rod to pull rot from under the map and let them damage the Grove's Clutch, then quickly attack with the pick or parasol (my favorites) to deal damage. It only takes a couple of rounds this way.

Extra Tips:

#1 Make sure your weapons are at least 2+ power to get the most damage in the short attack window as possible

#2 Turn "Perish prevention" to True in the options menu to stop dying, doesn't affect any achievement

#3 Have as much Dew as you can going into the fight, with the perish prevention on it just dispels the attack reduction

That's all, it's pretty straight forward when you get used to it!smile

@qManballin I had to replay the game cause nothing I did unlocked the achievement. It took me less than 4 hours by doing the bare essential quests.

I suggest to do a manual copy of your saves on PC cause the Xbox and PC share the same files and the game didn't have a copy option. It's way better have to replay only the last day and boss fight instead of the entire game

I was so confused at first because I thought you had to use the silver sword to overheal the tree to make it vulnerable but after 10 mins I gave up and looked at a written guide and found out that there are shadows on the floor that you need to use the dowsing rod on, even then it took a few minutes to do that because the shadows were so transparent that I didn't know what I was looking for until I finally noticed what the shadows looked like. They pretty much look like the shadows in the water but way harder to see in that particular room

Didn't pop for me at the time. Had to exit to the home screen and quit the game. Popped when I restarted.

I completed the game but the achievement isn't unlocking. I tried to reinstall the game, delete the save and sync it, even quit the game and restarting. I really hope it will pop it soon cause otherwise I need to speedrun the game to the final boss

@C0dice24 - I'm having issues with this achievement unlocking as well. I'm doing a speedrun to try and beat the game again and see what happens... Going a lot faster now that I know what I'm doing >.>

Just finished my "speed run" which wasn't speedy at all. After another 8ish hour run, was able to get this achievement to pop immediately after defeating the Grove's Clutch and it popped just as you enter that strange dimension screen.

Comments saved me! If achievement doesn't unlock when you defeat the Grove's Cluth and are teleported to "blue dimension", force close the game, and try again. Achievement unlocked on second time.
This should be added to guide!

Story-related; the Grove's Clutch is the final boss of the game. You'll need to return to each of the other dungeons and defeat all the bosses for a second time to unlock each of their shards. With all the shards, return to Mandy in the Mists and follow them to the bosses location. Place the shards on the pedestals to trigger the boss fight.
