How to unlock the Green Peace achievement in Gatling Gears - Definitive Guide

This achievement is for Chapter 1, Level 1 in a level called Trespassers. (Not the prologue chapter). This can be done in solo or co-op but co-op is recommended because the other player can push over trees to clear the way for the player getting the achievement. Basically, the only thing that can push trees over is by walking into them. Luckily your gunfire and other weapons don't knock them over. Have your teammate lead the way pushing over trees to make an open path for you. Also, its advisable to do this achievement on easy so that you don't have to worry about dodging enemy fire, you can focus on dodging the trees instead. It's really an easy achievement though in co-op.

Their is a piece of gold that is close to two trees. Unless your playing this level in co-op DON'T PICK UP THAT PIECE OF GOLD OR ELSE YOULL KNOCK THAT TREE OVER.

I found that just staying on the dirt path through the level and moving carefully at times will easily earn the achievement. By following the path you won't knock over any trees. And there are more than enough health pick ups that if you have to take a hit to avoid the trees then you have that option as well. If you are playing on single player you will have to play this level twice to get all the gold because of the one psuedo hidden in the trees

LOL Probably the hardest achievement in the game. Reason! I play both times on hard and by myself. Did not see a single tree tip over and no achievement. Now i try by myself in easy mode. angry

My solution was to play the game on my other xbox. Nothing else worked. I think if the game stops unlocking achievements its like the game Catan. But in that game it triggers if you unlock two achievements at the same time. Here it can happen randomly anytime and then that xbox can perhaps be permanently screwed for this game. How this works, ask someone else. lol

Trespassers is the first area of level one. This achievement is actually much easier than it sounds since the only way you can knock down trees is by running into/over them and only certain trees (the smaller ones) can be knocked down. With that in mind, just proceed through the level slowly and carefully. If at any point you do knock down a tree just restart and try again.

If you're struggling with this because you can't avoid trees and bullets just come back when you have the health upgrade maxed out, put the game on easy, and power through the bullets.
