Gauntlet

To unlock this achievement you must get the high score (make first place) using the Elf with the default settings. This is the score board on your console not any Live Leaderboard. The default score is 8,000 to beat.

The game ships with the top score of 8,000 (default). You may have a different high score based on if you got more then 8,000 points or not. If your high score is too high read the last part of this guide.

To get 8,000 points you do not even have to play past level one. During the first level when you first start head down and defeat the one spawner (that spawns the ghosts). Now go to the bottom of the screen you will see several spawners. Use them to spawn monsters and kill them all (just don't kill the spawners). Keep on doing this until you get past 8,000 (or whatever your high score is at the time). Once you pass it DIE right away. It will unlock after you die off. If you keep on getting points then it will be harder for you when you do the next 1st place achievement.

If you gained too much of a high score or are glitched (I got glitched and my high score was 6.7 million points!!!). There is a method to reset your high score. Follow these instructions if you want to reset your high score:

1. Sign out of XBL (hit the Xbox Guide, and press X to sign out of your profile).
2. Log into another account (can be silver) on controller 1, if you don't have another account then create one.
3. Start Gauntlet with the first controller.
4. Once at the main menu of Gauntlet, turn on or plug in a second controller.
5. Select your main profile with the second controller and start a game with the second controller.
6. Now, you should start the game and die immidiately to see the ingame scoreboard. It should no longer be the extremely high score that it was before.
