How to unlock the Game Master achievement in Gauntlet - Definitive Guide
Depending on how badly you want this achievement, you have two methods. 1) Play through it and beat it normally 2) Insanely long and boring method of waiting.
Let's say we're going with option 2. Pretty much, we try our best to stand still in each level. Midway decided to leave the level skip cheat in the game, so if you stand still for 45 seconds, every wall will become and exit to the next level.
So, to save a few minutes, play through level 1 by getting all of the keys and opening all of the doors to level 8. Sometimes, you can just stay still at the beginning of the level but other times you will have to progress and find a spot to wait for 45 seconds.
I'm not sure if standing still means not attacking, so I'd suggest leaving the controller sit for the time being. Also, since your health drains over time, you'll be mashing the Y button a lot. If you do this past the point of 99,999 HP, it'll go to about 100 HP and you'll have to press Y even more.
This method won't get you a lovely spot on the leaderboards and it'll take a while to unlock it, but it's 60 points added to your gamerscore.
EDIT: Okay, while standing still you are able to attack and still have all the walls turn into exits. Also, sacredskullkid says that if you repeatedly press Y after getting your health to 99,999 HP, it doesn't reset your health.

Going past 99,999 HP doesn't actually reset your HP back to 100. The counter resets, but the game still acts like you have more than 99,999 HP.

It's 180 seconds not 45.

For this achievement, you have to get to Level 100 using the default settings. This is possibly the most time consuming achievement in the game. I suggest doing it on single player, as you can press to regain 700 health as many times as you want, making this achievement as easy as possible. Another suggestion would be to do it with four people, as you get 700 health at the start of every level when you are playing with 3 or 4 people, and it's easier with four people.
