How to unlock the Fresh Grubs achievement in Gears 5 - Definitive Guide

The Featured Horde Map is a rotating set with "special rules", similar to the map rotation for Escape. Currently, you can unlock this achievement by simply completing the final wave.

The maps that work for this achievement are Overload, Abyss, and Rail Line.

Completing a Featured Map in Horde Frenzy will also unlock

Did not unlock for me but could be of unstable servers atm.

Yeah, I saw there’s been some server issues. Did you select from the “Featured” section on the Horde menu?

How are you meant to master the featured map when it only goes to Inconceivable in the featured section?

The other solution claims it's possible to unlock via custom lobbies, so that would be how you select Master difficulty.

You only need to finish wave 50 and it can be through a custom or private match. I joined a custom regular horde match on Overload, master difficulty at wave 42 and the achievement unlocked at the end of the match.

I joined a game on wave 50 and by the time it loaded me in it was on the victory screen and the achievement popped. I've never done so little for an achievement lol

Having trouble finding the "featured" map. In my Horde menu, I find Horde Frenzy and Custom, but do not see any special maps/options. Is it still just Overload map? (Trying not to avoid wasting time)

Mada - The maps that work for this were in the “Featured” tab at their respective debuts. The maps that are valid are Overload, Abyss, and Rail Line.

I have added that info to the solution.

You do not need to wait for this to be q featured map, just set it up in custom and complete wave 50.
