How to unlock the Grave Consequences achievement in Gears 5 - Definitive Guide

Private games work for all three map achievements in this set (Tomb, Ephyra, and Ritual).
Multiplayer > Versus > Custom LAN > Host game > choose the map and character you need. I played arcade blitz game mode, but later realized you should play Execution 1 round to win to go faster and knock out the Execution achievement.
You can also earn credit towards Vrol and Bernie COG achievements (5 win per each). I do not know how to link the achievements in guides.

Don't forget to mention that you can lock out 4 slots of the opposing enemies too. Making 1 vs 1 or however many you want on your team. Still got my positive vote though.

Thanks for the confirmation it can be done in private. I loooooooove this kind of self-boost. I haaaaaaaaate multiplayer.
To link an achivement in a solution, just copy/past the needed achievement page's URL in your guide, and it's done.

The easiest way to do :
Custom LAN
Any gametype you want (I'd advise you to pick KOTH to progress on the other related achievements)
Map : Tomb
1 round to win
Set bots to true
Lock EVERY slot except yours.
The game will start with you against nobody and you'll win it immediately.
If your tracker doesn't show any progress, hard reset your Xbox One and retry (it worked for me this way).
Update info from PyroCryoXC1V: if you're having an error saying the game can't be started without another player, unlock one slot on your team. It will be filled by a bot and you'll still get the victory as soon as the game starts.
You can use this strategy to unlock the following achievements :
- Bernie is Back (you'll need to unlock Bernie first, either by buying her in the store or reaching the Soldier V rank in Tour of Duty)
- Trusted Advisor (you'll need to unlock Vrol first, either by buying him in the store or reaching the General rank in Tour of Duty)
- Grave Consequences
- Destroyed Beauty
- Last Rites
- Back in Styles
- In Total Control
