How to unlock the Hives: Busted achievement in Gears 5 - Definitive Guide

I just wanted to say that all maps have been released, so you can get this now without any map exploits.

The maps you’ll need to complete are (in order of release):
- The Barracks
- The Choke
- Lethal Engagements
- The End
- Melee Brawl
- The Corruption

You can keep track of which maps you have completed, and on which difficulty under Stats > Escape > Completed maps.

Im Forever Dope suggests that there are progress issues with this achievement, so it could be a good idea to keep an eye on your achievement tracker and make sure that you actually get progress for completing a map.

Why would anyone downvote this? This is helpful. Thank you for putting this up for all those who attempt this after the campaign is over.

Did you guys have any tracker progress issues for this? I’ve done 5 but only have progress for 3 of them. Any suggestions

I don't think I had any issues, but I did for other achievements. Do they all show as "Experienced" or above in the stats? If they don't, redo the ones that are missing. If they do, you'd just have to redo them one at a time until you see progress.

Increased difficulty is 2 mutators of your choice.

Escape Hives Operation 3:
  • Barracks
  • Narrow throat
  • Deadly skirmishes
  • The final
  • Hand to hand brawl
  • Abomination
