How to unlock the Jack of One Trade achievement in Gears 5 - Definitive Guide

You need to play a full act, picking the robot as your character.

Since at least one player must be Kait/JD to start a campaign session, you need to be at least in two in the lobby and do it co op.

I can confirm this works in act 1 where you use Dave for the half of it, so it's not connected to Jack itself.

I got this achievement with 2 others in order to boost this and the "complete an act in 3-player co-op" achievement, and I only had to play the last checkpoint of the second chapter of act 4 and all of the first chapter.

So if you boost this, complete the whole act as normal for the first Jack player until the achievement pops. Then back out to the lobby and have the other two players play as Jack from the checkpoint until the end cutscene
Then replay the act from the start (Act 4: Homefront) and complete that so that you only have to play 1 and a bit chapters, rather than 2, until the achievement pops. Saves a bit of time if you can understand what I'm trying to say

Ive done all of insane as the robot and in 3 player co op and neither has popped. Any idea why?

I don't see it mentioned anywhere so I wanted to add that this can be done solo with an extra controller signed in as guest with guest playing Kait. Act 4 took me about 45 minutes using this method.

You can also get it by playing alone in splitscreen.

see the hint for the achievement "The Crazy Train is Departing!"
