This can currently be done in a Private match against bots or a second controller. You don't have to win. Just play a match. I highly suggest combining this with the other multiplayer achievements as you go.

Versus -> Custom -> Online Game -> Host Private

Each map is available under different game modes:
- Allfathers Arena and Lift are available for most Versus modes. Set the gametype to Warzone and under Warzone Options set the rounds to 1. Choose fill bots to off if you have another controller. Simply kill your dummy to end the match.

- Mid and Boxes are available in 2vs2 Gnashers. Set the gametype to 2vs2 Gnashers and set the rounds to 1. Again, set Fill Bots to "Off" if you have a 2nd controller. Kill your dummy to end the mtach.

- Nethercutt, Pit and Core are available in Free for All. Set the gametype to Free for All and under Free for All options, set the Score to 10, Time Limit to 10, and Fill Bots to "On".

EDIT: According to Dangerous Dave and Bunny Breakfast, this must be done in a 14-player FFA match, not an 8-player match.

Should just add that you need the 14 player free for all for Nethercutt, Pit and Core maps. 8 player doesn’t give you them.

I have a second controller but never figured out how to use it in Gears 5.

It's been a while since I've played but if I recall you have to sign in to a second profile in the main menu and from there you can add your second controller to your party.

The maps, Nethercutt, Pit and Core are all only available in the "Free For All - 14 Players" Gamemode, in case anybody was confused

Finally popped the achievement missing the Free For All 14 player maps. Setting it to gnashers only will speed it up a lot faster. A lot less time and only dealing with one weapon too.

I didn't try to unlock the FFA ones in v8, but I got the achievement to pop after I finished the second map. I only did FFA v14.

Hi there. Did you already tried the solution that consists in open the game hub with game running?

This kind of problem is very recurrent, it happened many times with me and with many different games.

1) With game running, press GUIDE BUTTON, go to your profile and press A, choose My profile option.
2) Go to Gaming tab on the top of the screen, choose the game with achievement tracking issue (in your case, Gears 5) and press A. Inside of game hub, select Stats on the left side.
3) Press B twice to back to main menu of Gears 5. Check your achievement tracking again.

If these steps didn’t solve your issue. Exit the game for dashboard, do a hard reset, turn on your console after one minute, run the game again and repeat the three steps above.

This procedure always solved many issues for me, like this and others.
