So i've completed up to Insane so far on The Mines hive, tracker has got stuck at 50% and friends has stuck at 62%. It should be at 75% but it just isn't moving. I have tried it in public and private games and I have re-completed all difficulties from beginner. Not sure if its either not counting something or the tracker is just stuck. Guess i'll find out when I complete master.

This achievement is glitched you must complete one escape map in each difficulty, but thats not all; It must be done on the first map you started getting progress for this achievement! (Got this info from a friend) i completed The Mines on every difficulty but not the Hives yet, which was my first map i played. So i should get this achievement once i complete the hive on master

So yeah glitched for me. I have completed the mines from master back the way. It might be what Neon suggested as I am sure i played the Hive first. Hope they fix this grr.

I got progress of completing one map and one difficulty however no matter what I do on any other map I can’t seem to gain more progress. So it appears I must find out which map I played first

I'm pretty sure I completed The Hunters on both beginner and intermediate but tracker still shows only 12%… I'll try the two difficulties again on the first map I did (I think I only did it on beginner). If the tracker then goes up, I guess it is "do all difficulties on the FIRST map you play" (for me anyway!)

If it doesn't go up, I guess it's glitched?

It glitched for me and many people I have to say this one of many achievements on this game unfortunately

Yeah its glitched as of now I've been thr hive starting from master going all the way down. Nothing unlocked.

Hmm… my tracker finally has moved! After bumping up the difficulty several times and completing The Hive (first map released), it now says 25%. So, I guess they really did mess up the tracking to only your first map, not any map. (Or they messed up the achievement description)

@ttfp saylow, Yep, it's definitely the first map. I beat The Hunters on all difficulties and my achievement progress didn't move. When I beat my first hive I on a higher difficulty I hadn't it moved.
@Zeh Marcoss I suggest you check your Escape Hives tab in game. If that doesn't help you find the hive I would beat hives on difficulties you haven't yet and see what makes the achievement progress go up.

@Mercado I found that the first map I had completed was The Hive after all.

I was able to raise the tracker up to 75%, and now I need to complete it on the last two difficulties, Inconceivable and Master.

I wish the achievement worked as it should, since The Surge is a lot easier to complete.

alright just finished the hive on all difficulties. And my tracker is at 87%. So I know hive was my first map and the tracker supports that, and I confirmed in custom games that I’ve completed all the difficulties. Any suggestions on how to make the last 13% pop??

@Zeh Marcoss: That's good to hear. Yeah it's frustrating that the achievement only recognizes the first map you beat.
@Star1ord89: Have you completed that hive with no modifiers on (Beginner)?

I have a concern… do the Past Hives disappear after a while, making this a timed achievement of sorts? I notice that when you choose from the Past Hives, there's a countdown.

I did my first escape map on Hive, I noticed it counts when i did other difficulties. However, even I did all difficulties on Surge, the achievement bar never move...

Yeah, I just dis the Labyrinth from beginner to Master and it didn't pop. Guess I'll have to find the one I played first

The achievement description has changed, it now says for me "Complete a Launch Hive on each difficulty (hive, descent, gauntlet or mines)". Has to be done on one of these maps.. sadly. But it's best to do those maps if you're going for seriously.

I seriously hate these Master Maps. I have the worst luck trying to pass any of these. Making sessions and still no luck.

I noticed that too. I wonder if they've fixed it so it tracks for any Launch Escape map, not just the first one you attempted…

Has it been confirmed that, as long as you complete one of the LAUNCH maps, it doesn't matter which one you tried First?

No, doesn't go up on other maps. I had started Hive and just completed The Descent on every difficulty, (first time playing this map!) and no achievement. Back to Hive I go...

My marker stopped at 87%. Any ideas to keep moving forward?

It is now December and this achievement is still broken.. description changed but it still dosen't work for sh*t! Helped a friend of mine going through the mines and the tracker went nowhere, although his 1st escaped map was the hive.. good going Tc!

Just an FYI, i didnt get any progress until i did the Hive.... i did all of the mines first and nothing... If you progress moves you have the right map, just start from lowest difficulty and go up.

I’ve now done all of the launch maps several times on several different difficulties, and progress is still at 12%.

EDIT: My map was The Hive, although I completed it many times on different difficulties it still took many matches to actually start tracking.

Do I need to do all difficulties in order starting from beginner to master?

This achievement is bullshit. I've been doing "The Hive" since Launch and tracker has been moving up, stuck at 87%. Did master as that was the last one I needed and still stuck at 87% and seriously 5.0 hasn't moved either. Seriously, fuck this game and fuck the Coalition

As an update on this, upon starting up the game after the operation 3 title update, this one instantly jumped for me from 50 to 75%. So maybe it has been fixed now?

Machewski try running through the difficulties again, some of them may not have registered the first time around. I had to do them several times in order to get some difficulties to register.

This is glitchy as hell. I'm super lost. I did hive until elite and I got progress. Then I did the descent on master and for some reason I got progress. And then I got stuck at 75%. After that I did the hive on insane and inconceivable and the descent on inconceivable and no progress at all. Not sure what to do,any help?

Finally got mine from 62 percent to 87bby doing descent on master and inconceivable, then did every other difficulty moving down to beginner, this is clearly the map i started on but after having done all difficulties it hasnt unlocked...

Not sure if they fixed the glitch or what, but I first did Beginner to Experienced on The Hive, and then everything else on The Descent and the achievement popped. Also, the progress bar was moving after each difficulty. Hope this helps!

I finally got this last night, basically guys if your progress was moving then you're on the correct hive.
I basically started with no modifiers then just added one each time (from left to right.. So I didn't get confused) turned out I hadn't done 'Advanced' popped straight after that

I think with last update they changed it. I am certain that it is now a combination of difficulties of all 4 maps combined. After update it jumped from 50% to 87% w/o any interaction on my end.

Which of the four maps would you say is easiest? (In case we are lucky enough to not have progress already locked to one of them.)

Yeah, it progressed when I beat the gauntlet on inconceivable, then it did again when I beat the mines on master. Seems like it doesn't have to be all difficulties with one single map

Well, I just confirmed the hard way that this achievement is no longer tied to a single map. I'd completed The Gauntlet on all difficulties except Elite, only to have it pop after an Elite run on The Hive, and I've only ever beaten that map on Beginner and Advanced prior to now.

This one just dropped for me. It was stuck for the longest time at 87 percent and only unlocked when I completed The Hive on Beginner. This was unexpected because I'm pretty sure I did The Hive on Beginner when I was just starting to get into Escape.

What I think happened is that the counters for this achievement were reset after the developers fixed the bug that kept it from dropping; so my initial "beginner" playthrough from before the reset didn't count.. Basically, you shouldn't count the progress you made before the counters were reset. YOu have to play them again to get it to drop.

Any tips? I completed all 4 on master and I am still stuck on 37%. Before I mastered them it was at 37% I assumed the Mines was the last one that needed to be done since I hadn't gotten any progress on the previous 3. I just did the Mines on Master so im hopping the progression is lagging

No it is not glitched. I got it yesterday. You must complete every difficulty starting on beginner and finishing with master on 1 single map.

You can not play the hunters on 5 of three difficulties and the hive on the other 3. Must all be done on 1 map.

I don't even remember which map I played for the first time.

I completed The Surge on all difficulties and the tracker remains locked at 25%. This is completely unacceptable.

If developers can't make such a simple achievement work as it's supposed to, why create them in the first place?

^ what bothers me even more is this game has had so many glitched achievements and it is a first party game, I remember in old Bungie ViDocs they would say people from Microsoft would actually come in and help them in the process. I wonder if that is still the case or if Microsoft just sits back and says “ya doing great kid” these days to their first party teams.

It's probably worth updating the guide as the guy that made the videos in the above solution has done a few more Master guides including one or two solo.

He has some pretty good strats for the runs. Unforunately he hasn't done a guide for the other two launch maps The Descent and The Mines which are needed towards the 4 Seriously completions but hopefully he might do them soon.

For anyone stuck at 87% after finished Master difficulty - you are missing 1 difficulty to unlock the achievement, so try finish the map without any mutators active ( 0 difficulty as I like to say), then with just 1 mutators active...if this not unlock achievement continue add 1 more mutators every run until it pops! Most players are missing 0, 1st or 2nd difficulty and they stuck at 87% like 2 of my friends playing escape, BUT you will get it!

I did the Hive on each difficulty up through Elite anticipating this would be the map I had to do each difficulty on and watched progress go up each time in one sitting. I ended up doing The Descent on master well after that and got progress toward this which I did not expect. Later, I went back to Hive to do Insane and saw progress. In a different sitting I jumped in a lobby for Inconceivable Descent to see if this really would work and it popped as I expected. I’m not sure if it’s fixed or I got lucky or putting a day or more between all my subsequent runs had anything to do with it, but it worked for me like a lot of us assumed it should.

Hi all, Just Got this on “Descent”, few things to note, Worked from Experienced difficulty up and then back down to Beginners for the final game, got Master before Insane and Incon so kept with it not knowing it was my first map and not in any order so got lucky, sometimes the achievement progression bar didn’t rise until I exited after each match backed out to the home screen and quit the game then rebooted, after each difficulty I achieved then the progression bar changed rising %

Maybe they changed something in the tracking in one of all the updates, but the bit about doing it on the map you first started to get progress doesn't seem to apply anymore. I just got it after doing The Surge on all diffs up to Inconceivable, and then I played The Descent on Master for the Knife Gunfight cheev, and this one unlocked as well... so from that I gather that you just gotta do all difficulties on the base maps regardless of which diffs are done on each map... that said, the easiest map must be The Descent since there is no ironman drawback, so you can retry fast without all the damn loading plus the enemies are fairly easy (leeches, drones and a few scions is all).
