I can’t find the option to turn off bots, for the life of me. Where do you do it?

Go to Game Setup under the Settings tab in the lobby.

Didn't work for me when killing other player - we did private match with no bots - but worked when inside zone.

Yeah you need the dramatic music of the games about to finish when you kill them and that only happens when they’re in the end zone

I never thought about the nets coming from a lack of second controller, I thought maybe I had confusing instructions or something

Yeah I don't understand the downvotes either... It's literally spelled out exactly with what you need to do. Maybe people are illiterate..

I think the confusion lies where you specify When i killed my dummy while outside the endzone the cheevo wouldn't pop. Once I ran into the endzone to kill the dummy account the achievement popped. Hope this helps

That’s how I popped it, but I’ll edit the solution

If you don't have a second controller then leave the bots on. Lock four of the slots on your team and four on the opposition team to make it 1v1 against a Beginner bot, then just wait for the bot to pick up the flag and enter your endzone.

Tried the solution with a single bot and killed it in the end zone with the flag, however didn't unlock the achievement. I'll try again later. Not sure if other are experiencing the same.

Edit: managed to get it now with the single bot method. Turns out I wasn't in the end zone with the opponent bot, seems like you both have to be in it for it to count.

How do you lock four of the slots on both teams to make it 1v1?

@Geregan, worked first time for me. Make sure you're not killing the bot too soon; the bot must be in the process of scoring for the kill to count as a denial.

Can't do this on PC, can't add my dummy to versus.

Spot guide, noubt wrong with it. I didn't have a second pad, so I used the method above and stuck a bot in place instead. Acheievemnt done. 👍👍from me. Thank you ✌

I might sound like a big noob but... how. in the hell do i play Gridiron mode? i really can't find the option 😢

Just a quick note. You cannot be in the endzone to start. You have to let them start the capture then enter the endzone and kill them. After a few attempts I realised this using the 2 pad method

Killed bot inside endzone twice when I was far away got nothing then killed him whilst i ran into it and it unlocked. I also used a shotgun for my 3rd attempt.

I just had the same situation as @Geregan on 15 Jul 20 at 15:17 . Four attempts and nothing popped. Fifth attempt I suicided along with the planted grenade. So this glitched achievement ended up getting me two instead.
