How to unlock the Resourceful achievement in Gears 5 - Definitive Guide

This can be done in a PRIVATE MATCH! We will be getting all the Free For All achievements in the Operation 3 DLC in one match.
If you just want this achievement then disregard the part about waiting to be 10 kills behind that is mentioned later in this guide.
This achievement will pop during the match once you complete the last kill.
Here is how to do it...
Start the game
Select MULTIPLAYER
Select VERSUS
Select CUSTOM ONLINE
Select HOST PRIVATE at the top of the screen
Select GAME SETUP
Select GAME MODE
Select FREE FOR ALL - 14 PLAYER then go back to the previous menu
Select FREE FOR ALL - 14 PLAYER OPTIONS
Turn FILL WITH BOTS to ON and BOT DIFFICULTY to BEGINNER
You can also adjust your ROUND SCORE and/or ROUND TIME LIMIT here as well if you need to make it easier.
Now go to WEAPON SUBSTITUTIONS
Change the boltok and the boomshot both to gnasher
Change the enforcer and frag grenade both to lancer
Change the incendiary grenade, longshot and torque bow all to snub
Now go back to lobby and pick CORE for your map and start the game
You're going to want one kill with each weapon you load out with. Lancer, gnasher and snub. It may pop for you after your lancer and gnasher kill without needing a snub kill Since those weapons are all on the map as the only pickup weapons you don't have to pick up anything.
The first thing we'll be doing is nothing. Just watch the scoreboard until the bot in first gets to 10 or 11 kills then start killing everyone you see. You'll end up unlocking Line Them Up for killing 10 different enemies in one match, Come From Behind for winning a match where you were behind 10 or more kills and Victory Seized for winning a free for all match.

I understand the guide in theory, but when I try to put it in action my FFA-14 lobby won't let me change any weapon, and I only ever start with one weapon - the Gnasher. I can't add or even change that one weapon, and can't start or pickup any other weapon on this game mode.
I checked and it isn't on Gnashers only, and even when I change the "Swap All Weapons" or substitute it to another weapon it's still only the Gnasher.
Is my game bugged, and is there any solution I'm not seeing?

I changed all the pickups to Lancer, Gnasher, and Snub. Then I got a kill with each of my starting weapons and the achievement popped. It might work if you change them all to just one of these also.

Make the following changes in setting:
Game mode - Free For All - 14 Player
Weapon substitutions:
Boltok - Gnasher
Boomshot - Gnasher
Enforcer - Lancer
Frag Grenade - Lancer
Incendiary Grenade - Snub
Longshot - Snub
Torque Bow - Snub
Now get a kill with each weapon and the achievement should unlock.

You can unlock this achievement in-game right now in the weekly VERSUS EVENT: FFA 14: PRECISION Sharpshooters, this is due to all weapons in the map are snipers and markza; maybe in some future TC will add this mode game in the customs and do it in private.
