How to unlock the Kick 'Em When They're Down achievement in Gears of War 2 - Definitive Guide

When an enemy is "downed" they have taken too much damage and fall to their knees/crawl away. You will need to use a variety of weapons to get all 11 executions, some having two different ones depending on the button used.

1. Torque Bow - "Y" button
2. Torque Bow - "B" button
3. Longshot - "Y" button
4. Longshot - "B" button
5. Boltok Pistol - "Y" button
6. Shotgun - "B" button
7. Neck Snap - "A" to pick them up, then "X"
8. Curb Stomp - "X" button (doesn't matter which gun)
9. 1-2-3 Punch - "Y" button (any gun that is not on this list)
10. Boomshield - "Y" button
11. Lancer - "B" button

Solid solution. Going through old achievements on my new gamertag. The fact that you have a negative vote for this solution makes me feel the voting system is laughable. Negative votes should be able to be challenged in some way.

I had some trouble with #5 as well, that was the last one I needed. Finally got it after a couple of attempts, seems like trying a different angle other than head-on might help.

Probably worth noting that all those buttons are for the default controller setting. If you use alternate, then I think you need to press in the right stick instead of the specified buttons for some of those executions.

Good way. Top set: Multiplayer, Costum xbox live, king of the hill, 9 bots, the level of bots - casual, and most importantly - time bleeding 60 - is when a lot of time on death row. You must also customize all the weapons on such we want to make executions and on the railways as a guide.
