How to unlock the Force Multiplayer achievement in Gears of War 3 - Definitive Guide
This is very simple just win the matches of Guardian the are on the map pack, if you are having trouble knowing what they are here is a list;
Aftermath
Artillery
Cove
Jacinto
Raven Down
Must be done in online ranked or quick games as it's not available in private matches. If you are doing it in ranked and don't want to boost here is a good method of how to win. The idea is to kill the Guardian, but as long as you keep your Guardian alive then you can't lose. Stay with your Guardian at all times, do not leave their side ( you are a bodyguard ). Use your rifle to kill anyone who tries to get close and then finish them with your shotgun or let the leader. Another good thing to have is grenades, so you can cover two places at the same time, in theory. After all it doesn't matter who gets the kill as long as they live. When there is two of you this dramatically increases your chance of survival!
Another way is to get a group of friends and just go for the kill, all go together at the same time and you WILL outnumber them and probably win every round without fail, of course, revive at every time if you need to your leader! Or you might lose.
Select your weapons cleverly, if you are good with the gnasher shotgun or even sawed off have a hammer bust or lancer as your rifle. If you are not very good with the shotgun then I would recommend using the Retro Lancer, it's insanely powerful from close range, but rather than just shooting. Take it in very quick bursts, this keeps the cross fire smaller and thus being more efficient.
EDIT: It has now been pointed out by many that if you join a match of Guardian late and win then this DOES count towards the achievement. It has not been confirmed whether this works for the last one though. Thankyou to all of you who have helped confirm this.

Joining in the middle of a game and winning does count as a win toward the achievement, though it may be possible that the 5th and final win for the achievement has to be done from the beginning of the game.
I joined 3 FoN Guardian games in the middle of the game, my team won, and each time following the game I checked my Force Multiplayer achievement progress and there was a checkmark by the FoN map we just played, meaning that the win counted.
These are the only 3 Guardian games I'm played for these maps so I will have to see what happens for the other 2 maps.

I can confirm that you can join a game half way through, as long as you spawn into the game you will get the counter going. I got into a match a few seconds from the end and got it.

Hey, guys !
So, i'll make a pretty short and direct guide.(even though, i guess it doesn't really need a guide)
The 5 maps of Forces of Nature DLC are:
Aftermath
Artillery
Cove
Jacinto
Raven down
Since there's no Private Guardian for us to boost, all we have to do is to win a match on each of the maps above playing by ourselves OR trying to gather some friends(10 friends) and split them up in 2 parties of 5, then, you gotta arrange someway to start to search for a quick match of Guardian at the same time(maybe, put two people in a party on xbox live, the hosts of each group of 5 in-game), but i don't really know if this will work, because Guardian is a really famous playlist, so PROBABLY it will always be crowded and matching up with your friends can be pretty hard..
plain and simple.
Since i've made this short guide, i know i'll get a lot of negative votes, because people.... well, they are people.
Anyway, same old boring favor: please, if you negative, tell me why in the comments :)
EDIT: while going for this one you can also try to get the I've Got This! achievement
but it'll be kinda hard to get 10 kills as the leader, because when you are the leader, usually you try to protect yourself a little more, but try this out, guys !

The I've Got This! achievement in Gears of War 3 worth 61 pointsKill 10 opponents as the leader in a round of Guardian on a Forces of Nature map.

Little nip to help, maybe try putting the map names in order to help people. I know it might so silly but it does help.
