How to unlock the Welcome to Versus achievement in Gears of War 3 - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to get 10 kills in the Team Deathmatch gametype. This does not have to be done in one game, you can take as long as you want. Once you have 10 overall kills in Team Deathmatch, the achievement will unlock.

This achievement can be earned my playing the Team Deathmatch playlist and just doing your best to get 10 kills. Lancer and Gnasher will do wonders and power weapons will make 10 kills that much easier. Also if you're just starting out with Gears of War 3 it is recommended to go for this achievement on Casual instead of Standard.

The following video is of my 2nd full online match of TDM where I earn my 10th kill for this achievement!

If you have certain achievements in Gears 1 or 2 then casual mode will be off limits. This is because casual mode is for beginners who haven't played any other gears title and are new to the game. You'll know if you're too advanced for casual if you already popped the " Welcome to the Big Leagues" achievement.

Just do what the title says, you have to do it on Team Deathmatch (Standard or Casual) and you can get this well you are going for Welcome To The Big Leagues at the same time (see my guide for Welcome To The Big Leagues for more information)

You will also earn a medal in your Gears Journal.

To unlock this achievement you must go to:
Versus > Standard > Team Deathmatch > Quick Match
Fortunately the game can create a lobby with only a bot if there are no people playing, just kill 10x in this mode and the achievement will be unlocked.
