First things first:
RAAM's Shadow DLC is available for 1,200msp (or $15) from the Xbox LIVE marketplace, or for free if you purchase(d) the Gears of War 3 Season Pass for 2,400msp (or $30).
This DLC is a lot of fun and let's you - for the first time - play as the Locust in the Campaign. To get this achievement you will simply need to select Campaign from the main menu, then scroll down to "RAAM's Shadow" (NOT "Ramm's Shadow Arcade"). Any difficulty will unlock this achievement. If you play with a full group of 4 people you can also progress toward the following achievement:
The Help From My Friends achievement in Gears of War 3 worth 63 pointsComplete "RAAM's Shadow" in 4 player co-op in either Arcade or Standard mode.

The Death from Above achievement in Gears of War 3 worth 35 pointsUsing the Hammer of Dawn Command Center, kill 50 Locust.
The Finger of Doom achievement in Gears of War 3 worth 23 pointsAs RAAM, kill 50 Gears using your Kryll.
The I'm Rubber, You're Glue achievement in Gears of War 3 worth 40 pointsAs Mauler, kill 10 Gears by reflecting their bullets using your shield.
The Unarmed and Dangerous achievement in Gears of War 3 worth 33 pointsUsing the Loader, kill 10 Locust.

Did anybody have trouble getting the basic "complete campaign on any difficulty" achievement? I finished it today and nothing... I did a couple chapters offline, would mess it up? Also, I skipped the credits... is that a problem?

i did this on casual and nothing happened so assuming you have to do it on normal at least?
