How to unlock the Best Teammate achievement in Gears of War 4 - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, you have to get 1000 total assists on kills by either damaging an enemy or spotting/marking them before a teammate gets the killing blow.

If you get any score from a kill it should count as an assist so long as you did not get the actual final blow.

This can be done versus casual A.I. for easier assists / spotting.

Vs casual AI is probably the fastest method, they are the easiest to kill, and as long as you keep spotting, it will go quick. I have barely been working at it, and am around 40 percent, with very little effort. It will come long before your 100 hours, so just keep at it.
