Horde Bounty
Fortifications 1 - Build 5 Fortifications
Start a private match, on any difficulty, at level 12 or higher so the fabricator starts with 10,000 energy (including your player input). Pick up and immediately drop the fabricator, quickly throw down 5 barriers, then return to the lobby. Do this before the timer reaches zero. You will get the bounty and the card will remain in your inventory. Repeat.

I did it 3 times, and the tracking bar didn't move. So I tried to search why by myself, and after selecting the concerned card in the horde bounties screen, and retrying the method, it worked. I haven't even had to put the 5th barrier down as as soon it's bought, the popup warning you succeeded appears, and the tracking bar progresses. So you can leave to the lobby a bit sooner.
So maybe, W C Aries, you should update your guide with these infos, and correcting it's not level 12 but wave 12, as already told.

Bounties come in 2 forms (Versus, and Horde). They can be found under the "Manage Bounties" tab after selecting either Versus or Horde game modes. To select a bounty press 
on the card you want, you will see a "red check mark" showing it is selected.
Some bounties only count in certain Versus matches (ex. get 1500 score in King of the Hill) so make sure your playing the correct match type.
After you run out of your free Bounties more can be bought in the store through Gear Packs. You may also create Bounties for 40 scrap by deleting duplicate cards or unwanted cards by pressing

Does it count if I do the same bounty multiple times?

Yes it will count all of them. Before I completed the achievement I used the "Get 1500 score in King of the Hill" six times and used others multiple times as well. Good luck!
