How to unlock the Hi, Mom achievement in Gears of War 4 - Definitive Guide

This is a very easy achievement and an Easter Egg. Load up Act 2, Chapter 1, "The Prodigal Son" on any difficulty. As soon as you gain control of JD, move forward until you come across a square shaped hut to your right. You'll see the door you're supposed to go through to meet Marcus to your left and a smaller gate to the right.

Go to that gate on your right and press cn_X when prompted. The achievement will pop right at the beginning of the cutscene that follows.

It's like TC forgot to put a cutscene in the final build which would tell us how she died. A bleak point in the game's campaign for sure.

This is quite hard and not as easy as the OP mentions.

I dided twice before getting to the gate.

Walk very slowly and watch out fot the ambushes on the way to the gate everyone!

The Easter Egg was already in the game from day one. They just introduced an achievement that's tied to it, that's all.

This is an easy achievement and an Easter Egg. Load up Act 2, Chapter 1, "The Prodigal Son" on any difficulty. As soon as you gain control of JD, go to the small gate at the back of the area. Watch the video from the link below.

Done in a campaign. Act 2 Chapter 1. Before going to Marcus's house, turn right and go to the gate. As soon as you enter the gate you will receive an achievement
