How to unlock the I Have Approximate Knowledge of Many Things achievement in Gears of War 4 - Definitive Guide
So the scout is one of the more active roles, you are always on the move, typically running for power while your teammates mop up the last few enemies each round. The skills you will want is, of course, common green (Deposit Bonus, Health Boost), Health Regeneration, and Pickup Radius. The 5th skill is the only one skill I feel you could trade out for something of your choosing, all the other skills are practically a must. I like a rare blue (Dodge) since you are running around a lot or a rare blue (Team Revive), or the one that makes you run faster, those are all good choices.
Raven Down, Checkout, and Harbor are all fun easy Levels for the Scout typically. If you have any questions are can't get this achievement yourself then hit me up on here or on Xbox Live. There is no One Ultimate guide for these classes so have fun with it :)

Noticed you only mention 4 of the 5 cards in the post. I’ve read your description as saying the 5th card (pick-up radius) is the one to swap.
I’ve chosen to use shotgun damage as my other card

If you are not pumped up, then you don’t have to try. So, I completed the crazy level with four of us))) The horde is simply evil, they take you out in one shot! Took me about 4 hours. The optimal map for passing is the very first one (bunker). We are building our base at the site of the respawn, under a canopy. The canopy will save you from bosses and aircraft (we call them Skynet). The most important characters are the scout and the engineer. The scout must have a card to collect money, and the engineer must have the cost of turrets and the health of turrets. These cards must be level 5!!! To upgrade a card to the maximum level, you need to have 19 of the same cards.
The most important characters and their level 5 skills:
Tactics
The scout collects money and only he! If you completed the additional task, then die. After death, he will raise your money and it will be 50% of the total amount. The engineer builds turrets and pumps them to maximum speed. Optimally, die 3 times on the 8th wave in order to upgrade your base before the boss. The fat guy should be the main shooter, he has damage and increased ammo. Others belay with turrets. Beware of the Boomers and Skynet (Guardian), they take out everyone at once. A soldier is building barricades - they will slow down the horde.
Boss - here you only need to wait for a helicopter!!! 2 people guard the entrance, and others shoot through the “window” at the boss. Under no circumstances let the bosses enter your base - it will destroy everything! Let's see who is the boss, if not a helicopter, then we merge very quickly!
The tactics are simple - the main thing is the turret, take care of it. Here is my video for clarity.
Method No. 2
The point is simple: on the 8th or 9th wave, merge until there is enough money. The main thing is to upgrade the turrets to level 3 before the 20th wave, and to level 40 before the 4th level. Instead of automatic turrets, we use barricades. And we just take out the bosses in 1 minute. Here's the video , just in case anyone doesn't understand. Only we didn’t save much money, because... fully trained engineer
The most important characters and their level 5 skills:
- Engineer-Turret Cost; life of turrets
- Scout-money collection;
- Fat Man - damage from turrets; additional ammo capacity for turrets
- Soldier is the cost of barricades, the life of barricades

You need to go through horde mode, as the "scout" class, from waves 1 to 50 on insane difficulty.
It’s impossible to do it alone, so you need to look for a team, at least if there are 4 of you. If you can’t find your team, don’t try from random either, it’s better, people just leave after several waves.
But it's easy to find a team in the new XBox service.
In the left panel of the team - find a team - select Gears Of war 4, and you will see applications from people who are ready to play horde right now, look for where people put the tags horde, insane and the like. They will easily take you on to the team, unless of course they are specifically looking for a scout or engineer. (True, the majority will be English-speaking groups, but at the right time of day, you can find comrades for the horde) The main thing is not to be stupid or interfere with them, but simply shoot enemies from the turrets
