Easy method for solo.
Load up wave 41 build a bunch of sentries and face them at walls. Let them all get destroyed and pick up the power.
Should be more than enough and if not kill a few enemies to get you over 10000.

Works a treat, great solution. Build as many sentries as you can and then some decoys to spend all your money. Wait for them to be destroyed and then collect it all.

This achievement is actually really quick and easy. My friend and I were both able to get it in roughly 20 minutes.
Load up a private match of horde. Set the difficulty to casual and start on Wave 40. I'd suggest playing on Checkout as it's a small map.
You'll want to equip the following cards:
-Health Regeneration Boost
-Shotgun Damage
-Health Boost
-Pickup Distance
-Speed Boost (optional)
Ideally you'll want these cards to be level 3+.
When you pick up all the energy you should get approximately 10,000-11,000 energy, which meets the requirements of the achievement. Just make sure you pick up the money that the boss drops! If you're not able to pick it up you will unfortunately have to restart Wave 40.
This is possible to do by yourself, however a bit harder depending on your card levels. If you choose to do it with a friend, just make sure he/she doesn't pick up any of the energy. This also means he/she can't have pickup distance on otherwise they'll pick up the energy. The wave only supplies enough energy if one person picks it up.
If done correctly, the achievement will pop while the round leader board is on screen.

All I did for this was start on wave 1 on casual on Reclaimed. Put shotgun damage on among a few other buffs and used this ‘kills 1’ bounty. Just run around with the shotgun and pick the power up as you go. You should get this way before wave 10.
EDIT: As PlanetNoobies suggested, if you wanted a quick achievement, you could start on wave 41 on Dam, build fortifications and collect the power during the wave once the fortifications have been destroyed. The achievement should pop after a wave or so 👍

Solo method, takes 5-6 minutes (maxed cards), should get the achievement during wave 3. Lower level cards will increase the time but it should still be quick, may take a wave or so longer.
Load up a private horde on casual, any map will do ( I chose Dam but a smaller map will probably be a little quicker )
Main skill cards;
Brawler
Execution Bonus
Health Boost
Run around using melee/retro charge to kill the enemies, with the execution bonus card (lvl6) a peace maker will go from 59 power +59 bonus for collecting during an active wave, to 59 power + 267 bonus.
The deposit bonus doesn't have an effect on the achievement.
EDIT: If you start on wave 6, you should get the achievement in a single wave using this method
