You need 53200XP to reach Level 20. You gain XP by playing both Horde and Versus modes.
In Versus, you gain XP by killing and executing enemies, completing objectives, capturing areas and earning ribbons. Also, certain game types yield more XP than others. Leveling up will depend on the individual and how they like to play the game. If you like to just kill the enemy, Arms Race, Dodgeball or Team Deathmatch are good selections. Or, if you like objective game types, perhaps you can try Escalation or King of the Hill. Experiment with different game types to see what you like and which earns you more XP.
In Horde, you can also gain XP in a variety of ways. In addition to killing enemies and acquiring ribbons, XP can be earned by completing waves without dying, completing bonus objectives and playing on different difficulties (the higher the difficulty, the more XP you can gain).
The last way to gain XP is by using bounty cards. These can be used in both Horde and Versus modes. Bounties are specific to a game type, weapon or class. If you equip and complete the card’s assigned objective, you get either XP or coins (which can be used to purchase Gear Packs). For a list of current bounty cards, click HERE.
