Play horde using one class and you will gain experience. After awhile you will level up. Achievement unlocked.

In addition to the overall leveling of your character, each of the five classes in Horde mode has a separate leveling system called Class XP (CXP). To get one class to Level 2, you need 1000XP. Pick one of the five classes you are most comfortable with and keep play Horde. Each wave completed earns you CXP, and for a certain amount of waves completed without dying, you earn a consecutive wave bonus. The more waves you complete, the more CXP you will earn. Difficulty also determines how much CXP you earn. Once you've gained 1000XP, the achievement will unlock.
For a good gauge, if playing on Casual, you need to complete Waves 1-20 in Horde to unlock this achievement.
Note: XP earned from bounty cards and ribbons do not count towards your CXP.
