Ok, before you begin you'll need 1000 460 scrap.
Go into your inventory and scroll through to the weapons tab.
Filter for rare (blue) weapons as at time of writing this solution there are no common series 3 content. Find the UIR weapons. These should be 100 scrap each. MAKE SURE IT'S NOT THE UIR ELITE WEAPONS! These are 600 scrap each.
Filter for common weapon skins & find the biker skins, I can find 9 of these. Buy 1 of each so that you have no duplicates.
Filter for rare weapon skins & find a UIR weapon (NOT A UIR ELITE!) buy 1 of these.
EDIT: Some folks are having to restart the game for this to pop.

This will not unlock for me. Update gave me 9/10 achievement progress tracker. However, I created scrap of 1200 and bought 12 more cards. Still didn't unlock. I restarted the game. Hasn't unlocked. I went back and counted. I have 17 series 3 cards as of now. and nothing.

It must be glitchy as it popped for me when I turned on the game, I've never played the mp, but I do have the ultimate edition and all the content downloaded. Unless that somehow makes me eligible for the achievement on that alone

Is crafting really the only way to get this? On the official GOW pages for Series 3 content it is clearly stated that the cards can be obtained via gear packs. Am I missing something here?

You can get series 3 cards in packs, but they are mixed in with everything else so the rate at which you get them will be very low. You'll then have to avoid scrapping them until you have 10 different ones. Crafting them will be significantly quicker.
But yes, if you want to open packs for series 3 cards you can.

Hey, you have too just scroll through the massive list of skins for weapons, the only filter that helps is the rare (blue) filter unfortunately.

Hmmmm, restarting worked for me... try reset the console (hold power button on the xbox) then kick gears back on. See if this helps

This can be done with 400 scrap by creating 10 Biker weapon skins. They are common and cost 40 apiece.

No worries, in the inventory sub menu under weapon skins you can still buy with scrap series 3 content. It'll tell you alongside the preview of the skin. Your looking for Biker weapons as these are the cheapest series 3 cards.

I can confirm this took a while to pop. Also, you might want to point out that the Series info is on the card itself, so make sure it's says "Series 3" before you craft...

bought 2 biker skins. Then counted how many series 3 skins i had which was 9. Bought 1 more. Dashboard and quit game. Restarted Xbox and then loaded game. Achievement popped once main menu loaded. Thanks for this guide.

I knew this achievement was buggy but not to the extent of the problems you're having!! The (annoying) restart trick seems too have worked for everyone else, myself included. Sorry, but I'm outta ideas. Hopefully at some point in the near future you'll start gears & it'll pop.

Mine took ages to pop;
I had met the requirements ages ago on game pass,because I gave up game pass I unistalled the game.
this achievement and a bunch others unlocked on start. My guess I had dash boarded rather than quit even though I had tured my Xbox off in between playing.
Guess you need to quit and restart if it doesn't pop.
