Dodgeball (thought I’d try the other achievement but no luck)

Me vs my guest 2nd pad

No bots

Downed with snub pistol

Then executed - made sure I kept pressing the button over and over to get maximum punches in

Popped - round took 42 seconds

Worked using Dodgeball and no bots per Phil the Bear's reply. My only thought is maybe you have to only use the Snub - I think I was downing with the Lancer and then executing with Snub. Either way, it worked!

I just got it and it has to be 2 rounds. At least that's how I got it.

When trying to start a private match with my second player I just get "server allocation failed" is this just because everyone is trying at once tonight?

Got past that glitch above must have been server overload.

I got this to work as Dodgeball set it to no bots and downed them with a pistol, finished them with a beat down and got it first round. Quit back out.

Everyone in your team needs to be equipped with Snub pistol. That's why you guys didn't get it with bots or even friends just walking around. They need to equip Snub just like people do on versus to annoy the losing team. Doesn't matter which team you're; COG or Swarm.

I can confirm.. In Private game -- on Warzone with Snub execution. 1 vs 1 (guest controller) worked for me. Thumb up

You don't have to do the beatdown at all. You just need to have the pistol pointed in the aire. If youre doing it with a team then the whole team need to have the pistol out pointing in the air

not at all. the team just need to have the pistol; my friends did it yesterday and they were pointing to the ground where the last enemy was being beat

I think I can confirm that the game has to be set to at least 2 rounds. (Tried it twice with 1 round and didn't get it. Set it to 2 rounds and got it first try.)

100% confirm. Set up a private game 1 vs a casual not in Security. Down the bot using the lancer then equip the snub and execute him beating him up and then I aimed the sky with the snub and the achievement poped out

Lol you guys do not need to aim the pistol at the sky that really doesn't change anything.

We finally got it to pop. 4 of us were boosting the new cheevos, we did 2 vs 2 on warzone, 5 rounds, and the 2 on cog team did snub execution on the 2 on swarm team at the same time and it popped on round 2. So I don't know if just having snubs out is enough, if it doesn't pop for you like that try both executing same time.
For those who do 1 v 1 you should have no issues as there's no one else in your team to be a factor

So much mis-information.

- It doesn't have to be an execution.
- You don't have to point your gun in the air.

Just get out your Snub and shoot the other player. That's it.

You can kill them anyway you want as long as you have the Snub equipped when the round ends, but why would you.

Wouldn't work in warzone but worked in dodgeball

CONFIRMED 2 ROUNDS guys, tried 5 times on 1 round matches and nothing. Did it finally on warzone 2 rounds private 1v1 (guest controller)

2 rounds on Speyer. War zone. Unlocked after first round. Down with Lancer. Finish with Snub.

Confirming that it worked for me today. Private versus, second controller with second account signed in, Warzone, 5 rounder.
Downed second controller with snub, then a headshot. Popped after first round.

Just did it in private 2v2 gnashers. I dont get why this has so many downvotes lol, popped the moment the round ended

Just got this 2021-04-27 on PC. Private 1v1 Warzone vs normal bot on Gridlock, because the bot always runs to the sniper spawn. Popped after the first round. Downed with enforcer, switch to pistol, pop.

This solution does not at all state the requirements of this achievement. All you have to do is have every member of your team holding the snub pistol when the match ends. I tried getting the winning kill with the snub pistol many times as the guide says which does not work if you have more than one person on your team.

Got it in Execution using the 2nd controller method, popped after I killed the other "player" after I made sure both had a Snub equipped.

I really struggled with this achievement. Did many different configurations: 1v1, 2v1, etc. This is what finally worked for me: Private Match, Warzone, two controllers. I then downed my guest with the pistol then executed them (Y button) when they were downed. This resulted in the punching execution and it popped the achievement at the end of the round.

Come in man, how could the game possibly register that you are pointing the snub in the air?

I had to set it to 2 rounds in Private to get this to pop.

Tried it with Warzone set to 1 round, pulled out my Snub, beat his face in, got nothing.

Changed it to Dodgeball, 2 rounds, beat his face in at the end of the first round, achievement popped right after.
