Let's Do This

Let's Do This

Achieved level 50 and chose to re-up for another tour of duty

50

How to unlock the Let's Do This achievement in Gears of War: Judgment - Definitive Guide

The re-up achievements always sound daunting because if how long gears 3 took to get that level if xp, thankfully in this game thats another thing they've made better. Now instead of millions of xp you only need around 10k per level in the last 10 (or so) of the first 50, so in a double xp playlist, or even regular xp you can get it quite quickly. After you achieve level 50 simply return to stats and awards menu and you will be prompted to re-up, hit X and hear the sweet sound of cheevo pop! Then rinse and repeat for the next re-up achievements!

I found overrun to give the most constant xp flow (I get roughly 5k - 10k per game on overrun) however it does take a long time normally to finish a match. The only game type I don't recommend for people who want this achievement fast is survival as you get very little xp for the time played and unless you get medals it isn't worth it really.

Hope this helps,
Good luck fellow gears!

If you have access to the VIP playlist, you can try Domination for big points - play for the objectives and get kills as you can. Last night, I was averaging 5-7k experience per match, for matches that lasted 8-10 minutes. It's much faster than overrun for xp.

You can boost even faster now, there's less actual players so if you select "Quick Match" you'll get put in a game almost entirely full of bots. So provided you're half decent at the game you'll likely be the top player of the match consistently and be able to spam ribbons. I've picked up a load of MVP ribbons this way. Last night I re-upped. Played two games of Domination in a VIP playlist and managed to go from level 1 to level 6 in just two games!

Should also help with getting medals for kills with certain weapons (not that anything other than your first Onyx counts for any achievement.. but it'll help avid completionists!)

See "Unstoppable" achievement description.

How to Re-Up: Go into Stats & Awards. You should see on the bottom what to do. Press and choose that you wish to do it. You don't lose anything like other games in which you reset your level when maxed.
