UPDATE: You can now get this achievement in a private match and it works perfectly.
Do it with a friend with a second controller playing as Paduk because it would easier.

Right now the only way to get this achievement is to have the host of the match make the game lag really bad. To make it lag I clicked on a random file to upload to YouTube. While it was uploading it caused immense lag to everyone in the game except me.

Now while that is uploading the achievement can be obtained. It works for the host too!

This can be done on any map in the game. I did it on Island. Get a boosting group together and search for quickmatch Overrun. Before you search have the host start up the lag. After you start the lag begin the search. It will take about 4-5 minutes until it puts you in a match with bots only.

After your in the match try to get someone on the other team. The only way to do this is to stop the lag so that a random could join, invite them to the party and ask them nicely to invite 1 or more of the people in our party. Now with the remaining bot spots open we just filled them in with guests. Just back out and sign them in. Then rejoin the match.

It seems that step is the hardest. I just found an easier way to do this. Instead of inviting the random into the party and hoping they cooperate, just have 1 of your boosting partners send the random a friend request. Then quit the game, click X to see what your friends are playing, and click Y to join the random you sent the friend request to. As long as it says Friend request pending you can join the game. You will now be on the other team. After you fill the team with guest controllers have the host lag the game really bad. The random should shortly leave because of the lag.

Now that you have no bots to worry about, have the people on the locust team getting the achievement save up to 5000 points to buy the corpser. Do this quickly by picking the grenadier and using the lancer to keep downing the enemies. Have a medic keep reviving them over and over until everyone gets 5000.

After everyone on the locust team has 5000 points then have them pick the corsper. Now that everyone is a corpser have the host of the match start the lag by messing up your connection. Everyone should now be lagging except the host.

Get the cog team to be Paduk because he dies in 1 hit from the corpser. Get 2 Paduk's standing next to eachother. Finally as the corpser go under ground and pop out right when your under them. It should say SAVING and you should get The Double ribbon and the achievement.

- This does work against bots as long as its lagging
- You can not get this in private match
- It has to be lagging when you are about to get the achievement
- Any map works

This method worked for everyone I was playing with.

It shows that there are 2 bot wretches because 1 of our boosting guys power went out.

As of the 18 June 2013 update, you can get this achievement in a Private match with all bots. You do not need any other players or any second controllers.

Play on a map that has mounted turrets, like Terminal or Estate, because the COG bots tend to group up around turrets. When you are on the Locust team, just play until you earn enough points to purchase the Corpser. Burrow under the ground and wait for 2 or 3 COG to group up around a turret, then emerge directly under them.

I can confirm that this now works with no extra players or controllers.

As of 18th June 2013 this can be done in PRIVATE.

Invite a friend in and put them on COG team. Have them keep running at you so you can get the 5,000 points needed to be a Corpser.

Make sure they're Paduk when you're ready to kill and have them stand next to the other Paduk in the game. I found it worked best with two Paduks as other didn't always die.

Use LB to start digging and come up just next to them and kill.

I just got the achievement a few hours ago, I can confirm that you can get the achievement against a Bot team.

What I did was lagged the connection to get myself into a hosted player lobby, to know if you are doing right you need to verify 3 things:

1. When searching for a match you have to make sure you get the message "Connecting to match". You should enter to a match that will be starting just with bot players. Also if the message "Attempting to join match x" appears, backout, means you are not in a hosted player lobby.

2. While you are in the game you will only be able to invite people to your team, if you don't get anyone in the other team means you are going the right way.

3. Host won't be lagging, the other 2-4 players in your team will be lagging, if they do then you are indeed in a hosted player lobby.

You need to kill 2 people WHILE EMERGING, not one after another, you must make sure you kill them at the same time. Also it's annoying and takes a lot of time because bots will move everywhere but i'm confirming once again, IT IS POSSIBLE WITH A BOT TEAM

Guarenteed easiest way to get this achievement!

What youll want but not need: (it just improves your chances of hitting them when you emerge as a corpser) 2 friends and to make it easier 2 guest loggins.

Have 1 Cog player defend the E-Hole and let the others get killed but the Locust player going for the achievement. I find that using the wretch to hop over the barriers is the quickest way to get the 5k points needed for the Corpser.

Once you have the Corpser have as many of the 4 bait players as you can crowd together. (Few people seem to know this part) Now stand right next to them as a Corpser and burrow under the ground (youll do massive damage to them but not kill them). Then emerge very shortly after and upon emerging youll kill said players as they are severely weakened so its easy now.

The trick here that makes this achievement difficult and confusing is once you are burrowed the game automatically advances you forward so its hard to get the right distance for emerging. Also when you emerge the Corpser has 2 seperate attacks that it does without you pressing anything: the first is the emerging out of the ground (this is the attack that needs to be the killing blow so you can get the achievement) the 2nd is a slash with its claws that if you kill the targets with it that is doesnt count towards the achievement.
