Gears of War

I gave tumbs up but don't see why you recommend to do it on hardcore when there are achievements for beating the game on insane and they do stack. Doesn't make sense to me if you are a completionist. Better to do first play through on casual and then the next on insane.

Beating the 1st act on casual is generally easy even if you're a new gamer. I would say the hardest part is first flanking the locust inside the House of Sovereigns (where Carmine dies). The strategy for this on causal that worked for me is stay in cover until the Grenadier (locust with a Gnasher Shotgun) comes out of the right door. Kill him immediately with your Lancer/Hammerburst than take his Gnasher. After you kill him run inside the House of Sovereign's take cover behind the concrete wall near the E-hole and close it up with a frag grenade. Finally, just kill the stragglers but be cautious as there is at least 3 guys still alive. Anyway good luck achievement hunting and I hope that achievement percentage rises up.
