How to unlock the Hot Hands achievement in Gemini: Heroes Reborn - Definitive Guide

You won't encounter enemies with rocket launchers until level 13. When you clear the room in the beginning of the level and reach the way point, the first one will appear.

You can boost this achievement rather quickly. Instead of waiting for the enemy to shoot off 10 different rockets for you to catch, you can catch the same rocket in the air multiple times until your slow time ability runs out.

Line up with the enemy and press cn_LB. As soon as the enemy shoots off a rocket, press cn_Y to slow down time and catch it. Remain in slow time, and press cn_RT to repel the rocket. Right when it releases from your hold, press cn_LB to catch the rocket again. Repeat this cn_RT, cn_LB combo while in slow time until your slow time power runs out. You may need to let your slow time ability recharge and repeat the process a second time, but it's a lot quicker than waiting for 10 different rockets.

You will not be able to get this trophy until the latter part of Level 13. When the rocket guard shows up, press cn_L1 to hold projectiles, press cn_T to time slow before the guard launches a rocket, then press cn_R2 after catching the rocket. You will have to stand in the way of the rocket to catch it, so be quick. You can either catch all 10 at the first one, or proceed through the game until the trophy pops.

During Level 4: Wrinkle, you'll learn an ability called Telekinesis Projectile Catch, which can catch and return enemy projectiles. Many players will use this ability to catch bullets and send them back at enemies. For this trophy, you must catch 10 rockets and not bullets. In order to catch and return enemy projectiles, do the following:

  • Toggle on Telekinesis Projectile Catch with (auto-catches projectiles if Time Slow is active)
  • When the enemy pulls the trigger toggle on Time Slow
  • Press or to fire the projectile(s) back at enemies

Now that you know how to TK Projectile Catch, you need to find an enemy with a Rocket Launcher. These types of enemies won't appear until Level 13: Digging Deeper. During this level, a small cutscene will trigger before you can proceed. Afterward, you're required to kill the Rocket Launcher enemy. Instead of killing them, farm the trophy on him by repeatedly catching the same rocket in the air over and over until the trophy unlocks. To do this you must have TK Projectile Catch activated with and press to enter Time Slow. Once you caught his rocket, turn it away from him so you don't kill him by mistake. Now press to release the rocket and then quickly press to automatically catch the rocket again. Resin and repeat this 9 more times until the trophy unlocks:

The missiles are fired by heavily armored enemies that appear towards the end of the game. Done by pinching after deceleration (triangle). You can send the rocket itself either into the wall or into their face)
