How to unlock the Fashionista achievement in Gems of War - Definitive Guide

Another very easy achievement in this game.

EDIT: it seems to be the case that you have to be at least lvl.5 to gain access to the hero menu. This wasn’t the case a couple of years ago and was added by an update.

On the world map press Y and open the menu. Go to the section "hero". There you can change the outfit, gender, race etc. of your hero.
Just change the outfit and the achievement will unlock. Pretty much effortless.

Guide worked great. Note the achievement didn't pop in game for me. I checked the smart glass app and it unlocked there.

Hmm that's weird. I unlocked it yesterday without any problems in-game. Maybe there are some issues with the MS servers again. @X Scorpion don't worry, if it says "done, unlocking" you are good. You just have to wait hours/days or sometimes even weeks. But it will unlock eventually. Please keep me posted if it worked

This one unlocked yesterday right away, but I have major troubles with other cheevos not unlocking, although prereqs are fulfulled. Hope they unlock later today...

Just a note as this may not have been the case in the past, but the Hero Menu now only unlocks once you reach level 5.

I press Y on the world map and nothing happens.. Thanks HyruleBalverine. It's because I'm not level 5 yet. The solution and walkthrough both need updated

To unlock this trophy you have to open the menu, go to hero and press cn_R1 to go on "armor". Now the only thing to do is to change armor and the trophy will pop up smile

This is another easy trophy. Press and navigate to the "Hero" button. Click on it and the hero menu will pop up. On the bottom right is a button titled "Costume". Go into this menu and check out the selection of costumes, it is pretty limited. There are two costumes in the beginning which is enough for you to gain this trophy. You can get more costumes through the store; they are all bought with diamonds and can grant different buffs.

You start the game with two different free costumes. As soon as you finish the tutorial, enter your character menu and swap to the second costume to unlock this achievement.

We go to the character settings and change the appearance of our achievement. (HERO->Armor)
