Currently, there are 38 underworld factions (more may come in the future)

You have to purchase each faction on your map (4000 gold each), then finish the faction's Quest before you can start its Delve and Hoard.

Delve as deep as you can in each faction with a custom team of your own first; then do the highest level you can with a full team of that faction's troops as you acquire them and upgrade them. Build your hoards to at least 100 for max points from hoards.

10000 divided by 38 = 263.15 per faction average renown. So it should be quite easy to get this achievement now.

Renown Points Breakdown for each Faction:
Best Delve Defeated (max 500) X2 (max 1000)
Best Delve with no casualties (max 500) X1 (max 500)
Best Delve using the faction's team X1 (max 500)
Treasure Hoard level X5 (max 500)
Total points possible per faction: 2500

So just the 90 a day (assuming I win all of them without a faction team, without losing troops) for 23 days until I get this achievement. Yawn!

Upgrading the horde treasure level to 100 will yield 500 points for each faction already.

Even though these achievements get easier when they add more factions, they eventually will likely add more achievements for getting more renown, but these guides definitely help me know how much I need for each faction.

The weekly delve events are a great way to make up for faction teams too if you missed them.

Weekly delves are not that great IMO because you only get a single day to make it through the dungeon 50 times to max it out. They're good for factions you haven't made much progress in since you have more attempts and can use potions. That will get you some progress. However, they're not worth the cost to boost up your team all the way.

Definitely jump on a new faction delve event since those are good for 3 days.

I’d have to disagree with MrZombieChicken. The benefit to the weekly delves are you can use potions to buff your team during these events which you can’t do during normal delves. Doing this was the only way I was able to get the Exalted achievement, and it will be a great way to bump up renown in other factions as well.

How do you count 40 factions? There are only 32 right now. And it will top off at 34 when they add the last 2 later on.

Edit: now there are 35 kingdoms/factions, but not 40

Now that there are 40 delve factions, you only need to average 250 points per faction to earn 10K total Underworld renown. Thus, you can earn it by getting the hoard level to Level 50 for each faction, and that will get you exactly 10,000 if you've never earned any delve points.
