How to unlock the Scrooge McMoa achievement in Gems of War - Definitive Guide

This is available in the UNDERWORLD.

In the Underworld there are 'Factions' (similar to kingdoms up on the surface). If you open a Faction's tab (provided you have already bought the faction for 4000 gold), open the tab 'Hoard'.

Here you can add treasures to your hoard and thus increase it.

How to get TREASURES

You find treasures by opening chaos portals (kind of chests) using chaos shards.

You can get chaos shards in the following ways:

- in the chests at the end of successful delves (win the final boss fight or run away any time before you reach it)
- by increasing your overall renown (you will get these in the mail)
- by spending gems in the faction shop (only available in a special FACTION EVENT that sometimes occurs - you can find it under the GAMES tab)
- by increasing your faction event score and unlocking rewards (only available in a special FACTION EVENT that sometimes occurs - you can find it under the GAMES tab)

The games tab should say when the next faction event is going to be. Here you can read more about faction events:

Increasing your hoard

Treasures come in six versions:

- Coin Purse (common) - 10 XP towards the hoard level progress
- Gold Ring (rare) - 25 XP towards the hoard level progress
- Priest's Chalice (ultra rare) - 50 XP towards the hoard level progress
- King's Crown (epic) - 100 XP towards the hoard level progress
- Genie's Lamp (legendary) - 250 XP towards the hoard level progress
- Sacred Treasure (mythic) - 500 XP towards the hoard level progress

The higher the treasure's base rarity, the faster your level up your hoard.

You can combine treasures, you can actually add up to 5 treasures to your hoard at a time. This increases your chance at increasing the quality of the hoard and decreases the cost.

Treasures are actually troops (you can actually use them in battle if you want), you can level them up (this has no impact on the treasure hoard) and you can ascend them (also no impact).

By adding the treasures into the hoard, you lose that card/troop (but the card's level, traits and ascension carry over to the next time you get that card).

I've made it to lvl 50 in the Silver Necropolis and the achievements hasn't popped. Any ideas why it hasn't popped? The achievement's stuck at 80% which would be lvl40.

this is pretty easy, after you complete a dungeon, win or lose, you get rewards, some of those are shards, you can trade them in for a chest at the same city you did the dungeon, so far from those chests i have recieved either a troop, or a treasure item, simply trade the treasure item back in to level your hoard. after 5-6 days of playing, im at level 49 of my hoard already, with playing on the standard level and 3 dungeon runs a day.

Treasure Hoards are found in any Underground faction, and will provide bonuses based on their level and quality. To increase the level and quality, you will need to donate treasures to them, which are found inside the Delves, or by opening Chaos Portals. Chaos Portals are essentially just another type of loot box specific to the Underground. You will receive Chaos Shards from Delves and as rewards for upgrading Faction Renown, and need 20 per Portal.

To upgrade your Treasure Hoard, you need to donate the treasures you collect. When you donate more than one treasure at a time, you have a higher chance of upgrading the Hoard's quality, which will in turn create better rewards for your Delves. So it is highly recommended to always donate five treasures at a time, and possibly even wait until you have five of the mythic treasures for the best bang for your buck. Treasures act like troops, but upgrading the level, rarity, or traits will not affect the amount of experience they provide to the Hoard, nor the chance of upgrading the quality of the Hoard. You will get 10xp for common treasure, 25xp for rare, 50xp for ultra rare, 100xp for epic, 250xp for legendary, and 500xp for mythic.

Faction Events are a great way to increase the quality of your Hoard, as well as earn Renown for a faction. These will run once per week for 24 hours. They work very much like the other Events (Invasion, Raid, and Pet Rescue) and require Sigils to go on Delves. You will gain extra treasures and Chaos Shards during these events, giving you much more chances to upgrade your Hoard level and quality. Be sure not to complete these Delves before you're ready. If you complete a Delve, the level will increase permanently. Instead, beat all the rooms to increase the treasure rewards, and with only the "boss" room left, run away and collect your earnings.

See this FAQ for more info on the Treasure Hoard and this FAQ for more info on Faction Events.

It’s better to increase when the chances of increasing quality are about 100%, then quality also increases, which gives bonuses later. up to 5 treasures can be used at a time

trophy is buggy at the moment (version 1.26)

When I got to level 50 it didn’t drop out.
If it doesn’t fall out, then the treatment method:
- system language - English
- game language - German
- we fill one more level and the trophy falls
