How to unlock the Touched By An Angel achievement in Gems of War - Definitive Guide

The Angel is the rarest of the four different random encounters that can occur during an explore run in between battles or in a delve in between battles. If she appears you will get to choose between one of two rewards and the achievement will pop. Although it is the rarest encounter, I earned this achievement before the other two as they require 5 or 10 encounters. Difficulty doesn't matter as I earned it while doing a level 2 explore run.

*People's experience is varying greatly in terms of rarity of these encounters. I have still only found one Angel but loads of the others, but some people are having the opposite occur.*

Yeah, I thought that too as I still haven't gotten a hoard mimic but I got all three of these new ones in around an hour and a half.

@vegansound, interesting, I only encountered one Angel and I have met the requirements for all of the achievements now. I suppose its all luck.

I got my first angel today but it took a good 5 minutes before the achievement popped

I have all the achievements except the Daemon one, 0 encounters. I have found Angel and Genie 3 times each one, and 10 times the Merchant, so i agree with Daemon as hardest 😂

I got the Angel on my first fight in delve got genie like 20 times but any of the 2 other.... Hate acheivement based on luck.....

Many many amouts of gaming - got all the other encounters en masse, but no angel yet.

Luckily I've managed to get it, didn't take that long with a really fast team.

My team was:

- Dust Devil
- Ironhawk
- Ironhawk
- Greed

Encountered The angel twice within the hour while grinding for trait stones/souls in Whitehelm. Do not know if KD matters, but its worth the try if you running bad luck. Alot of angel themed troops here.

Welp, found the Angel, didn’t unlock.

I’m guessing this is another Gems achievement that some people have to do twice. You’d think they’d fix that by now.

I'm no sure the Angel is the rarest unit, as just like you, I got her/his achievement before the two others units. We might think it's rarer because we just need one, but on my way to finish this update, I met her/him plenty of time.
For me, the rarest was the demon.

You can meet an angel during races in one of the kingdoms of the underworld, or on expeditions. At the same time choosing a pleasant gift from the two offered.
